Stray Kids ODDINARY continues to cement its status as a top-tier K-pop release through its staying power on the Billboard music charts. This week, ODDINARY remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 117. It’s the first K-pop album of 2022 to chart for five consecutive weeks. K-pop group Stray Kids latest mini-album also continues to rack up impressive statistics on other Billboard charts.

Stray Kids ‘ODDINARY’ has not left the Billboard 200 chart since debuting at No. 1 in March

Stray Kids are on top of the world, or at least on top of the charts! Since debuting at No. 1 upon its release in March, Stray Kids mini-album ODDINARY has not left the Billboard 200 chart. It is now the first K-pop album released in 2022 to spend five weeks on the Billboard 200.

During a Billboard interview when ODDINARY debuted at No. 1, leader Bang Chan said “‘Is this real? Is this actually happening?’ We were really surprised too.”

For the week ending Saturday, April 30, ODDINARY charted at No. 117. Staying on the Billboard 200, a chart that shows the most popular albums in the US is quite an accomplishment for the eight-member South Korean group that debuted in 2018.

According to Soompi, the only other K-pop groups to stay on the Billboard 200 for five consecutive weeks are BTS, SuperM, BLACKPINK, TxT, NCT, NCT127, and Stray Kids labelmate, Twice. After a deal with Republic Records, Stray Kids recently became eligible for the chart.

‘ODDINARY’ spends 5th week at No.1 on the World Albums Chart

Stray Kids motto is “Stray Kids everywhere all around the world, you make Stray Kids Stay.” Fans worldwide clearly want Stray Kids to stay on top as ODDINARY continues its reign as No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart. It hasn’t moved from the No. 1 spot since debuting five weeks ago.

Single “MANIAC” continues to do well on the Billboard charts too. It currently ranks No. 10 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. The first single from ODDINARY is also No. 121 on the Global Excl. US Chart and No. 194 on the Global 200.

The mini-album has not fallen off in sales since being released on March 18. ODDINARY is No. 6 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 7 on the Top Album Sales Chart. Stray Kids also climbed to No. 60 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week.

Stray Kids sell out all 9 US Tour Dates

On April 25, Stray Kids sold out seven US tour dates. The arena shows in Newark, NJ, Atlanta, GA, Ft. Worth, TX, Chicago, IL, Inglewood, CA, Oakland, CA, and Seattle, WA sold out within minutes. When tickets went on a sale, most fans were stuck in a virtual line that read “2000+ people ahead of you.”

To help meet demand, Stray Kids added another date in Newark and one at the end of the tour in LA. These seats also sold out immediately. Stray Kids original world tour announcement promised “more dates soon,” so fans are hopeful they’ll get a few more chances to try for concert tickets.

Stays (Stray Kids fandom) can currently watch their favorite group weekly on Stray Kids 2 Kids Room. The series pairs two members for an impromptu conversation each week. 2 Kids Room is free to watch on YouTube and comes with subtitles in seven languages.
