The Bachelor franchise announced on March 15 in the “After the Final Rose” special of The Bachelor Season 25 that Katie Thurston and Michelle Young would be the next two Bachelorettes. Katie was the star of The Bachelorette Season 17, which ended on Aug. 9 with a proposal from Blake Moynes. Unfortunately, Katie and Blake recently announced their breakup. Hopefully, Michelle will have better luck in her season.
Michelle Young was a contestant on The Bachelor Season 25 with Matt James. She joined the cast in week 3, but the connection between Michelle and Matt was evident. Michelle stayed in the competition until the finale, where Matt dumped her and chose Rachael Kirkconnell. She was the runner-up, but she also stole the hearts of The Bachelor viewers.
The Bachelorette Season 18 premiered on Oct. 19. with Michelle as the star. The 28-year-old started the season with 30 contestants vying for her love. And with so many men to choose from, Michelle is bound to kiss many of them.

Before Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette premiered, the star appeared on Good Morning America to talk about her contestants and her journey in the show. The interviewer and Michelle even played a speed round with questions about the men.
Michelle awarded the most attractive award to Martin. She said she went on the best date with Jamie. And Michelle claimed that Rick had the best entrance on night one. But when they asked Michelle who the best kisser in her season of The Bachelorette was, she answered Nayte.
As many fans know, Nayte has cemented his place as a frontrunner after receiving the first impression rose on night one. Plus, he sneaked the first kiss with Michelle. And if we take a look back at the history of the first impression rose recipients in The Bachelorette, many of them end up as the winner of the season. But fans will just have to wait until the finale of The Bachelorette Season 18 to see if Michelle ends up with Nayte.
Who is Nayte Olukoya?
Nayte Olukoya, Michelle’s first impression rose recipient in The Bachelorette, is 27-years-old and a Senior Sales Executive for Indeed.com. He is from Austin, Texas.
According to Nayte’s bio on ABC‘s website, “His dream woman is outgoing, spontaneous and has enough swagger of her own to keep up with him. He’s looking for a connection filled with heat and for someone who will be just as passionate about him as he is about her. Nayte is looking for a teammate for life and is confident that Michelle may just be the one he’s been waiting for.”
In the Good Morning America interview, the interviewer showed Michelle pictures of her contestants, and she had to respond with one word to describe them. When she saw Nayte’s picture, she replied, “Tall.” Given that Nayte is 6-foot, 8-inches tall, we would say that Michelle’s description is accurate. Perhaps Michelle and Nayte will find their happily ever after in The Bachelorette. But, if not, at the very least, they were able to share some good kisses.
