Michelle Young’s journey to find love continues in The Bachelorette Season 18 Episode 6, and it looks like Clayton Echard will finally get a one-on-one date in week 6. Over the last few episodes, the two have shown signs of forming a connection. But an independent date might indicate if they have a future together. Clayton Echard is a contestant in Michelle Young’s season of ‘The Bachelorette’

Michelle Young became the star of The Bachelorette Season 18 after finishing as the runner-up in Matt James’ season of The Bachelor. She got a second chance at love in the ABC reality competition series, and she seems to be making the most of her time in the show.

Clayton Echard was one of the men that Michelle met on the first night of The Bachelorette. He is 28 years old and from Columbia, Missouri. Clayton played college football for Mizzou. After college, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a tight end. However, he was unfortunately cut from the team before he could play. And ever since then, Clayton has worked as a sales representative for Stryker Corporation.

Currently, Clayton is trying to find love with Michelle in The Bachelorette Season 18. But are they destined to get engaged at the end of the show?

Do Clayton and Michelle end up together after ‘The Bachelorette’?

Unfortunately, Clayton Echard and Michelle Young do not get engaged in the finale of The Bachelorette. The ex-football star leaves sometime before the finale. Even though he is seen in multiple previews professing his love for Michelle, the two are not meant to be.

According to Reality Steve, Nayte Olukoya and Brandon Jones make it to the final 2. And, in the end, Nayte proposes to Michelle, and she gives him her final rose. The happy couple is currently engaged.

But it’s not all bad news for Clayton in the world of The Bachelor franchise. Through some intel from reliable sources, we know that Clayton’s journey to find love may not end when Michelle sends him home during The Bachelorette Season 18.

Clayton is rumored to be the next star of ‘The Bachelor’

Per Variety, ABC chose Clayton Echard to be the face of The Bachelor Season 26 after his time in Michelle’s season of The Bachelorette is cut short. According to Variety, leaked photos of Clayton with a camera crew suggest that he is the Bachelor.

ABC has not yet made a formal announcement regarding his selection as the next Bachelor. But several sources have confirmed the news. It’s likely that the network will reveal Clayton as the star of The Bachelor Season 26 either after Michelle sends him home or during “The Men Tell All” special.
