Ben Smith is one such star, a recent addition to The Bachelorette universe who is still a hot topic amongst the fan base.

What does ‘Bachelorette’ Ben Smith do for a living?

Ben Smith is one of the most popular contestants to ever appear on The Bachelorette. Fans have expressed a great deal of interest in Smith since he first appeared on the show, and have followed his post-show appearances and interviews with great interest.

Well before Smith launched his reality TV career, however, he had a busy life in the military.

According to People Magazine, Smith actually graduated from West Point and the United States Army Ranger School, going on to serve in the Army and became a Ranger.

After some time as an active-duty Ranger, Smith retired from military service after suffering a debilitating back injury, noting,

“I had this epiphany and I was like, ‘You know what? I don’t need to do this anymore.’ It was a very weird thing for me because I had based my life on achieving these goals.”

Although he is no longer active-duty military, Smith currently works as a personal trainer, focusing on the importance of both fitness and nutrition in the daily lives of his clients.

What is Ben Smith doing now?

Ben Smith stays busy with his personal training career, regularly taking to social media to show off the results of his workouts.

In addition to his personal training career, Smith has a lot of hobbies, including hanging out with dogs and members of his family.

Although Smith is active on social media, regularly posting to his Instagram account, he does seem to still be single and hasn’t shared any new photos with potential romantic partners since he appeared on The Bachelorette

Since Smith seems to still be single, many fans have been wondering if the talented, handsome personal trainer might consider returning to the franchise that made him a reality star – and Smith himself has spoken out about the possibility.

Sadly, runner-up Smith was left heartbroken after Adams chose fellow contestant Zac Clark instead of him.

After leaving the show, Smith dealt with a variety of issues related to anxiety and mental health, according to Screen Rant.

These days, however, he’s doing better than ever, choosing to focus on his business and his own emotional well-being.

Smith’s popularity has led many fans to wonder if he would return to the franchise, possibly appearing on a brand-new season of The Bachelor.

In a December 2020 interview, Smith opened up about the possibility, admitting that,

“I don’t know. I don’t know what happens at the end of the season. I guess we’ll have to watch it.”

In the same interview, Smith talked about his time on The Bachelorette, revealing that,

“I showed up completely as myself, I challenged myself in a way that I’ve never challenged myself before. So there were no limits on what happened there.”
