The Challenge: All Stars just wrapped season 2 – crowning MJ Garrett and Jonna Mannion champs and awarding them $500,000 to split. And The Challenge 38 doesn’t begin filming until March.

Luckily, fans of the long-running reality competition series won’t have to suffer for very long without new episodes. That’s because All Stars 3 is already in the can. And rumor has it, the third season will air on Paramount+ before The Challenge 38 airs on MTV.

Here’s everything we know so far about The Challenge: All Stars season 3.

‘The Challenge: All Stars’ features 22 ‘old school’ cast members

The Challenge has been airing on MTV in one form or another since the mid-1990s. But it wasn’t until Road Rules alum Mark Long tweeted his idea for bringing back “old school” cast members from The Real World and Road Rules during the summer of 2020 that the All Stars idea was born.

While the original series continues to run on MTV, the All Stars spinoff is part of Paramount+. And it’s been a big hit during the first two seasons. All Stars features 22 past Challenge cast members competing for a $500,000 prize. And season 3 was filmed before season 2 started airing.

Season 1 winner Yes Duffy is part of the cast

MTV has yet to make any official announcements about season 3 of The Challenge: All Stars. However, there have been some cast leaks that indicate a number of fan favorites will be back. Of course, there will also be a few villains.

The rumored list of male contestants in season 3 includes season 1 winner Yes Duffy. The lineup also features Brad Fiorenza, Darrell Taylor, Derrick Kosinski, Jordan Wiseley, MJ Garrett, Nehemiah Clark, Syrus Yarbrough, Tyler Duckworth, Wes Bergmann, Laterrian Wallace, and Mark Long.

‘The Challenge’ female cast list includes someone fans haven’t seen since 2003

When it comes to the rumored female cast members, there is one person who Challenge fans haven’t seen since The Gauntlet in 2003-2004 — Roni Martin. The Road Rules Northern Trail alum won both of her original Challenge seasons, which were Real World/Road Rules Challenge and Gauntlet 1. She is the only woman to have competed on multiple seasons and won every time.

Another “old school” cast member on the women’s side is Real World Miami alum Cynthia Roberts, who hasn’t appeared since Battle of the Sexes 2 in 2004-2005. She won the very first season of The Challenge, which was known at the time as Road Rules All Stars.

Kendal Sheppard and Jonna Mannion will appear on ‘All Stars’ for a third time

In addition to Martin and Roberts, the women who are rumored to be appearing in All Stars season 3 include Jemmye Carroll, Jonna Mannion, Kailah Casillas, Kellyanne Judd, Kendal Sheppard, Melinda Stolp, Nia Moore, Sylvia Elsrode, Tina Barta, and Veronica Portillo.

If this cast list is accurate, Mannion and Sheppard will have appeared in all three All Stars seasons. Along with Taylor, Kosinski, Wallace, and Clark.

The rumored list of alternates for The Challenge: All Stars season 3 includes Beth Stolarczyk, Sophia Pasquis, Tara McDaniel, Ace Amerson, and Dan Renzi. According to Challenge spoiler  NovaRogue, there was also one All Stars season 3 cast member who was dropped at the last minute — Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio.

A premiere date has not yet been set for The Challenge: All Stars season 3. But if we look back at the hiatus between seasons 1 and 2, there was a seven-month break. If they continue that timeline after season 2 wraps, that would mean a summer 2022 premiere for season 3.

The Challenge: All Stars season 2 is now playing on Paramount+.
