MTV’s The Challenge: Double Agents is officially over, and Amber Borzotra and CT Tamburello won the big money. During the reunion, the contestants came together to talk about what went down during the season. And fans are eager to hear about who will return for seasons to come.

So, is Cory Wharton coming back for The Challenge Season 37? Here’s what he said about continuing the show and eventually retiring.

Cory continues to up his game with MTV’s The Challenge. When he came on Double Agents, he made it known he was ready to compete and take home the big money. He stayed out of major drama and found himself with more partners than anyone else during the season, and eventually, he made his way to the final with Kam Williams by his side.

Kam and Cory did well, but not well enough. They came in second place and took home $100,000 to split between the two of them.

The competitor has a lot to be proud of, though — especially when it comes to how much he’s matured over the years. Now, with two kids, he has a plan for how he’ll explain his reality TV appearances to them.

“When that time comes, I’ll just tell Ryder and I’ll just tell Mila, ‘Daddy wasn’t perfect. Look at my dumb a** over here acting up, being stupid. Daddy made mistakes. That’s OK,” he told the Talking It Out podcast, according to Bachelor Nation. “You live and you learn. It’s a very easy teaching point for me. I don’t want my girls to grow up thinking they have to be perfect.”

Cory talked about his future with the show and eventual retirement

So, how long will Cory compete on MTV’s The Challenge? He’s currently 30 years old and has been on quite a few seasons. But it seems he has a lot of fight left, and he wants to take home the big win someday. He spoke to MTV’s The Challenge Official Podcast about his future plans.

“Obviously, at some point, I see myself retiring, come on now,” Cory said. But he noted he has no immediate plans to retire, especially if he ends up competing as well as Darrell Taylor, who was on Double Agents and All Stars at 41 years old.

The Challenge is a great opportunity,” Cory added. “It is my favorite show that I’ve been a part of. And I love going on the show. Until they want to stop having me, I’m going to keep coming.”

Cory noted he might not continue to do every consecutive Challenge season, though, as he wants to make time for his kids. But he’ll continue playing the game for as long as the network wants him to.
