‘The Challenge’ Season 37: Every Male Cast Member Rumored to Return

Fans of MTV’s The Challenge can rejoice, as the show will return with season 37. The network officially announced a new season was well underway — and now, rumors abound regarding who’s part of the cast. So, which men from past seasons will fans get to see compete in the new season? Here’s what the rumors suggest, plus more information on the new male rookies.

MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 cast allegedly features a number of rookie men

Rumors suggest MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 has a record number of rookie cast members. According to The Challenge Chronicles podcast, the new format involves pairing one international player with one U.S. player. And this means most of the rookies are from outside of the U.S.

“It’s not one alumni with one newbie,” the podcasters explained. “It’s actually one international player with one American character. So, Kyle [Christie] could be paired with Tori [Deal], for example.”

So, who are the rumored new cast members? According to a Reddit thread, Kelechi “Kelz” Dyke from Too Hot to Handle, Ed Eason from The Circle U.S., Jeremiah White from Love Island U.S., Tommy Sheehan from Survivor: Island of the Idols, Emanuel Neagu from Survivor Romania, Gábor “Gabo” Szabó from Warsaw Shore, Corey Lay from 12 Dates of Christmas, Hughie Maughan from Big Brother U.K., Logan Sampedro from Survivor Spain, and Renan Hellemans from Ex on the Beach: Double Dutch will join the cast.

Many veteran male players are also rumored to join the cast

Aside from the rookies, a number of veteran players will also allegedly join MTV’s The Challenge Season 37. The Reddit thread notes fans will see Nelson Thomas, Nam Vo, Devin Walker, Fessy Shafaat, Cory Wharton, Josh Martinez, Kyle Christie, and CT Tamburello. Jay Starrett was rumored to have joined the cast, too, but it seems production dropped him prior to filming.

With CT joining the cast, other players will likely try to get him out early. The Challenge champ has won a number of seasons, including season 36, Double Agents, with Amber Borzotra. And spoilers suggest CT already outlasted a few players in season 37. Spoiler account Pink Rose notes CT made it to the final four for the men, which is further than Fessy, one of his biggest critics.

When is ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 coming out?

When can fans expect to see the premiere of MTV’s The Challenge Season 37? Reddit users noted season 37 completed filming, and the premiere will allegedly air in early August 2021. It seems fans will likely also see MTV’s official cast listings sooner rather than later, too.

“This season is supposed to air early August, and the cast reveal should be released next week,” a Reddit user posted on July 4, 2021.”

MTV likely wants to get another season of The Challenge out to fans as soon as possible given the delays the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused. And it seems the series creators have plenty in the works, as rumors suggest production’s in the works for The Challenge: All Stars Season 2 and another rumored spinoff.

ViacomCBS did not return a request for comment regarding casting rumors by the time of publication.
