It’s no secret the veteran players are working together in Spies, Lies, and Allies. While a few veteran players talked about potentially deviating from the plan and going after other vets, they’ve all managed to stay on the same page. And many of the veterans continue to win daily challenges, too, putting them in positions of power.

According to veteran Josh Martinez, CT Tamburello originally came up with the idea for an all-veteran alliance, too. After The Challenge Season 36, Double Agents, CT (the winner of the season) allegedly proposed that all the returning players stick together to take out the rookies.

“We were in the city and we were partying for, like, three days,” Josh explained on the Watch With Us podcast, according to Us Weekly. “CT kind of set it off in the reunion. He’s like, ‘We had such a good reunion.’ It was, like, one of the first ones where we were all on a good page. And he was like, ‘I think the vets should keep this going into the next season.’”

MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ Season 37 Episode 4 foreshadows the first male veteran to enter elimination

According to MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 spoilers, Cory Wharton becomes the first veteran player sent into an elimination. And it looks like there’s some foreshadowing happening in The Challenge Season 37 Episode 4. A clip posted to the official Twitter account shows Kyle Christie and Devin Walker, two veterans who remain closely allied, talking about Cory.

At the beginning of Devin and Kyle’s conversation, they discuss the success of the veteran alliance. But they also acknowledge it will all quickly come to an end. “Vet-rookie teams are the way of the future, which means the truce will eventually have to come to an end,” Devin tells the camera.

Then, talking to Kyle, Devin notes, “Cory’s an interesting one, because every season he’s, ‘The game is family.’ F— you.”

“I’ve got a kid on the way now,” Kyle notes.

“This is the last season I’m going to trust you,” Devin jokes in response.

So, what happens to Cory in the game? Spoilers from PinkRose and Gamer on Vevmo and then posted on The Challenge Wiki note Cory and rookie Bettina Buchanan are thrown in against Amber Borzotra, a vet female, and Jeremiah White. Bettina and Cory come out on top.
