What did Ashley Mitchell do to be kicked off ‘The Challenge’ Season 37?

After host T.J. Lavin’s abrupt message in The Challenge Season 37 Episode 14, fans wondered what Ashley Mitchell did to be kicked off The Challenge Season 37. The show didn’t address what occurred. Instead, T.J. announced to the rest of the contestants prior to the elimination that Ashley broke a rule and thus was sent home for it.

Afterward, Ashley addressed the situation via social media. “I just want to thank everyone who’s stuck with me throughout this all,” she tweeted on Nov. 10, 2021. “Everyone knows I’m only mad at myself and it has been so hard to shake off the depression and anxiety since getting home. I have been taking anger management and reflecting a lot. I love you y’all so much.”

According to Reddit spoilers, Ashley was sent home over a verbal altercation with Josh Martinez. She hasn’t issued the details, but reports allege Josh cried over the event.

Will Ashley Mitchell return in ‘The Challenge’ Season 38 cast?

With Ashley Mitchell disqualified from The Challenge Season 37, can we expect to see her back in The Challenge Season 38 cast?

MTV hasn’t said anything about permanently removing Ashley from the show. With past contestants, like Dee Nguyen, for example, if they were disqualified for misconduct, they were taken out of the show’s edit completely and not invited back. But it sounds like Ashley may return given when she tweeted on Nov. 10, 2021.

“Rules are rules and I respect @mtv and T.J.’s call,” she tweeted. “The best apology is changed behavior. See you next time @challenge.”

“See you next time” may indicate she plans on returning. And with her other tweet about attending anger management classes, perhaps MTV will forgive the behavior and allow her to return. MTV has yet to announce anything official about The Challenge Season 38 cast, so we’ll have to wait and see what they decide.

A few ‘Spies, Lies, and Allies’ cast members already said they’re taking a break

If Ashley Mitchell doesn’t return in The Challenge Season 38 cast, she won’t be the only player from The Challenge Season 37 missing. Big T Fazakerley told fans via Instagram she won’t return for the next season, according to Reddit. And Cory Wharton also announced he’s taking a break. While he plans on returning at some point in the future, it seems he’s taking time to reflect on season 37 and won’t immediately come back.

Additionally, fans wonder if CT Tamburello will return. CT is reportedly filming a remake of The Most Dangerous Game, and filming may interfere with The Challenge.

While a number of fan-favorite veterans may take a break, Spies, Lies, and Allies saw a wealth of energetic rookies hoping to make Challenge history. We have a feeling some of these rookies will continue to play the game and challenge the well-known vets. Emy Alupei, Logan Sampedro, and Emanuel Neagu continue to prove they can hang with the best.

The Challenge Season 37 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on MTV.
