MTV’s The Challenge Season 37 ended in December 2021. After several months of gameplay and 34 players competing for the $1 million prize, two competitors won. CT Tamburello became The Challenge Season 37 winner for the men, and Kaycee Clark won for the women. The two then decided to give the other finalists $50,000 just for making it to the end.

Now, fans want to know what’s in store for The Challenge Season 38. While MTV hasn’t made any official announcements just yet regarding the next season, some competitors seem to already hope for a callback.

As for filming, PinkRose, a spoiler guru for the show, noted, production won’t start until March 2022. Previously, it was thought that the new season would begin filming in January 2022.

“[Season] 38 isn’t until March,” PinkRose posted online, according to Reddit. “[A]s of now, nobody is for sure, just availability calls have gone out.”

In the meantime, there’s plenty of Challenge to keep fans occupied. The Challenge: All Stars Season 2 continues to air on Paramount+ after The Challenge Season 37 finished. And The Challenge: All Stars Season 3 is allegedly filming before season 38. This means fans could get way more All Stars content before we hear more about season 38.

Who will join The Challenge Season 38 cast? Spoiler guru PinkRose noted official casting calls have begun, and production is allegedly calling a number of past veteran contestants to see if they’ll return. According to Monsters & Critics, spoiler accounts note even Cara Maria Sorbello and Paulie Calafiore received casting calls. The two well-known vets haven’t participated in The Challenge in a number of seasons.

With that in mind, a few well-known players may not return. Big T Fazakerely noted she’s taking a break from the show, as is Cory Wharton. It’s uncertain whether CT Tamburello will return in the future. While he won yet another season with The Challenge Season 37, he’s talked about leaving the show behind before.
