‘The Challenge’ Season 38 spoilers suggest Kailah Casillas and her husband, Sam Bird, were recently eliminated
MTV’s The Challenge Season 38 spoilers on Reddit note Kailah Casillas and Sam Bird compete together in the new season, which has a “Ride or Dies” theme. Given the theme, it seems cast members get to team up to form partnerships with their best friends, partners, or spouses. Kailah is no stranger to The Challenge, but her husband, Sam Bird, has never competed before.
Unfortunately, it seems the couple doesn’t make it far. Kailah and Sam were added to the elimination list on June 5, according to spoiler accounts.
Fans might be surprised to see Kailah return to the flagship series given her comments in the past. She said on social media that she didn’t feel comfortable returning to the MTV series, though she’d go on to compete in The Challenge: All Stars Season 3.
“I have moved so far past the idea of dealing with drama, public scrutiny, and the petty problems (and people) that are attached to being on the show,” she wrote on Instagram Stories, according to a Reddit screenshot.
How did Kailah Casillas and Sam Bird meet?
Given The Challenge Season 38 spoilers, fans likely want to know more about Kailah Casillas and Sam Bird. So, how did the couple meet?
It seems they met back in 2019. Kailah was in a relationship with DJ Mikey Pericoloso while competing on The Challenge Season 35, but her relationship ended after she cheated on Mikey with Stephen Bear. She then relocated to Florida, where she moved into an apartment with co-star Nany González. From there, she met Sam, who was famous for his time on Ex on the Beach. The two spent time together in Florida and confirmed their relationship a few weeks later in January 2020.
Sam proposed to Kailah while taking her on a trip to Greece. “We eloped!” Kailah posted to Instagram on March 13, 2022. “I never dreamt of having a big wedding, so we decided to take a trip to Gibraltar and do it the most intimate way possible, just us. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, @samrobertbird.”
When is ‘The Challenge’ Season 38 release date?
When will fans get to Kailah Casillas and Sam Bird in action in The Challenge Season 38? The show is currently filming with early eliminations happening in June 2022. Given the show’s current trajectory, it’s likely the premiere will happen in fall 2022.
MTV hasn’t given any clues as to when the flagship series will return. The next series in The Challenge universe to air is The Challenge: USA, premiering on July 6, 2022, on CBS. This new spinoff brings competitors from other CBS shows together to compete for the grand prize. TJ Lavin is hosting the series, too.
