The Circle brings all aspects of modern social media usage to life with a new reality TV concept. The show has each contestant living alone in an apartment, and the only way they can communicate with the other contestants is through a texting program. While some contestants choose to take on their own identities and try to win the group over by being their authentic selves, others choose to “catfish” the group and act as someone else entirely.

The group is then asked to rate their fellow contestants. The top-rated contestants can block another contestant and eliminate them completely. The final remaining contestant wins the $100,000 grand prize.

The first season of the U.S. version of the show aired in January 2020. And The Circle Season 2 premiered April 14, 2021. Netflix Life reports the finale aired Wednesday, May 5. The season has 13 episodes total.

So, how can fans watch the finale? The show is exclusive to Netflix for the time being, so a Netflix account is necessary.

Which players attended the reunion?

So, will The Circle Season 2 have a reunion show? It seems season 2 is happening the same way season 1 did. The finale and the reunion are all wrapped into one final episode.

At the end of season 1, the players all came together in the end to discuss the drama of the season, and the host announced the winner in the last few moments, starting with fifth place and going all the way to first. Season 2 took on a similar format — and every player from season 2 made an appearance at some point in the final episode.

Bryant, Khat, Savannah, Mitchell, and Terilisha all joined the finale/reunion stage first to talk about what went wrong for them in their gameplay. Then, Lee, Courtney, Chloe, DeLeesa, Jack, and Lisa, the finalists, joined the rest of the cast. Finally, viewers learned of the winner.

DeLeesa St. Agathe won The Circle Season 2. She wasn’t the most honest player, of course, but she used her genuine personality to find her way to victory. Vulture reminds us DeLeesa decided to enter the show as a “catfish,” as she has her own YouTube channel in real life that might’ve gotten her recognized by the rest of the cast. She chose to take on the identity of Trevor, her husband, and acted as a single father.

“So I felt that if I could create this persona that’s kind of like my husband, kind of like myself, I’d just do a better job … and just watching Trevor and how his social media goes versus mine, and his dynamic with his friends versus mine, it’s a lot less drama,” she told Vulture. “So I feel like if you want to make it kind of far in The Circle, you gotta go with less drama, right?”

DeLeesa is incredibly thankful for the experience, too. “It’s just a life-changing experience,” she said. “I’m very proud of myself. I’m proud of what I was able to accomplish for my family, and this is something that we will cherish forever.”

We’re looking forward to a possible season 3 of The Circle in the future!
