Tom Holland loves to stir the Spider-Man pot, doesn’t he? The Spider-Man: No Way Home actor revealed that one of his fellow friendly neighborhood superhero co-stars had to wear a little extra padding under his costume while filming the Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

Tom Holland reveals a secret regarding one of his ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ co-stars

While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote Uncharted, Tom Holland revealed a behind-the-scenes (pun intended) secret from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“I’ll give you a spoiler, and I’m not going to tell you who, but one of us has a fake a** in their suit,” Holland shared. “You can figure out that for yourselves.”

Seth Meyers then teased him and said, “Everybody thinks you’re such a nice guy, but you’re all about ticket sales. Because, now, everybody is going to go back out to try to find the fake a**.”

Holland replied, “I remember being on set like, ‘Wow! Oh, hang on a minute. Nah, that’s not real.'”

Fans have already begun speculating which Spider-Man: No Way Home actor — either Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire — is the one Tom Holland was talking about. But it will probably remain a mystery forever.

The actor praises working with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire

Earlier in his interview with Seth Meyers, Tom Holland gushed over working with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire on the Spider-Man: No Way Home set.

He said working with Maguire and Garfield was “the most incredible experience of my career. Playing Spider-Man, while being a wonderful experience and completely life-changing, it also can be quite alienating. When you’re 19, and someone gives you this opportunity and your life changes, it’s quite hard to figure out how to navigate. So to almost have two older brothers that had been through it before me, to be able to share that experience with them, was amazing.”

Tom Holland then went on to tell a story of a moment he shared with Garfield and Maguire while filming Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“I remember, we were shooting this scene, which was a really emotional scene,” Holland revealed. “And I was struggling to find the emotion just because, you know, when you make these big movies, it can take two days to shoot a scene. I’ve been crying for days on end. So I went up to Andrew and Tobey, and I just said, ‘Thank you. Thank you for being here, thank you for taking the time to be a part of this incredible opportunity. It means the world to me.'”

He continued, “And we all embraced. And we all started crying. I remember the writers, sort of seeing that, and being like, ‘Yep. That’s how we’re going to end the film. That’s brilliant.’ And then the end of the film is us having this moment where I’m like, ‘Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.’ And then we have this beautiful hug.”

Will Tom Holland play Spider-Man in the MCU again?

Spider-Man: No Way Home could serve as an ending for Tom Holland in the MCU. However, the actor might continue playing Peter Parker for years to come.

“We’ve had conversations about the potential future of Spider-Man, but at the moment, they are conversations,” Holland told Entertainment Weekly. “We don’t know what the future looks like.”

He added that he thinks Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Sony Pictures Chairman Tom Rothman, and producer Amy Pascal are “thinking of something … But at this moment, I don’t know what that is.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in theaters. And the movie will be available to purchase on Digital on March 22 and on 4K UHD & Blu-ray on April 12.
