It’s almost time for fans of the hit Arrowverse show Supergirl to say goodbye. There have been six seasons of girl power, epic fight sequences, heart-to-heart talks, and, the best of them all, speeches about hope. But now, the Girl of Steel must protect National City one last time and, then, hang up her cape. Kara Danvers and the rest of the Super Friends have been through so much in the past six years that it will undoubtedly be a difficult goodbye. To prepare fans for that emotional moment, we have the date of the Supergirl series finale.

The 'Supergirl' series finale cast, Jesse Rath, Katie McGrath, Nicole Maines, Mechad Brooks, Melissa Benoist, Andrea Brooks, Azie Tesfai, and David Harewood, embrace onstage during a San Diego Comic-Con panel.

When does the ‘Supergirl’ series finale air?

Per ComicBook.com, The CW recently announced finale dates for a plethora of their shows, including Supergirl. Unfortunately, this episode is the series finale for Supergirl since the network canceled the show ahead of its season 6 premiere.

Fans can expect to say goodbye to the Girl of Steel on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 8/7c on The CW. It sounds like there will be two episodes airing on that date. So Supergirl will likely have a two-hour, two-part series finale event that is bound to be epic.

What’s currently happening in ‘Supergirl’ Season 6?

Supergirl is setting itself up for a crazy series finale. Kara and the Super Friends have their hands full in Supergirl Season 6 with Nyxly’s invasion of National City. The Fifth-Dimensional imp hitched a ride with the heroes out of the Phantom Zone. But, when she arrived on Earth, somehow Nyxly got stuck in the dream realm. Thankfully for her, she’s an imp with masterful deception skills. Nyxly convinced Nia to free her, unleashing her evil into the city.

Now, Nyxly is searching for the seven totems that make up the AllStone. Let’s just say that she’s basically like Thanos searching for the Infinity Stones. The AllStone grants its wielder control over the entirety of the universe. As of Supergirl Season 6 Episode 13, Nyxly found and now controls the Courage Totem. One down, only six more to go. Kara recently discovered that she and Nyxly share a psychic connection, though. So, hopefully, that will help the Super Friends stop the imp.

Oh, and did we mention that Lena is a witch? But she’s struggling to accept her heritage because she is a scientist at heart. Kelly, on the other hand, is ready to accept her destiny. She officially became Guardian and suited up for the first time in Supergirl Season 6 Episode 12.
