What are the BTS members’ height in feet?
On stage, they’re 10 feet tall, but in real life, most of the BTS members are still taller than the average South Korean man. K-Pop Map reported the height of each BTS member as of 2018.
Jin, aka Worldwide Handsome, is the oldest and second-tallest BTS member at 5 feet 10.5 inches. Singers V and Jungkook are the same height, coming in at 5 feet 10 inches.
Other members in the middle in terms of height are rapper J-Hope, standing about 5 feet 9.7 inches, and rapper Suga, at around 5 feet 8.5 inches.
Even with the members’ varied heights, BTS is relatively tall. According to Statista, the average height of males aged 20 to 29 in South Korea in 2019 was almost 5 feet 8.6 inches.
One Twitter user said, “I don’t know why, but I think, even though we know BTS’ individual [height], I’d be surprised with how tall they actually are.”
RM is the tallest BTS member
The tallest BTS member is the group’s leader, RM.
According to Kpopmap, the rapper measures 5 feet 11.25 inches tall. RM, whose real name is Kim Namjoon, is also one of the smartest BTS members, with a reported IQ of 148.
One Twitter user joked about RM’s height: “I guess im gonna break my neck just to look at his chin.”
Who is the shortest BTS member?
He’s the group’s resident Prince Charming. Singer and dancer Jimin is the shortest BTS member. According to Kpopmap, the performer stands about 5 feet 8 inches, the shortest of the seven bandmates.
In fact, clips on YouTube and other social media platforms have caught Jimin standing on his toes to appear as tall as the other members. Another YouTube video shows Jungkook lifting Jimin to help him reach some pull-up bars at a gym.
And one fan joked on Twitter: “Last week, a student asked me how tall I am, and I said 173cm, and she yelled, ‘ah, just like Jimin!’ But the sad part isn’t that she memorized how tall the members of BTS are. The sad part is that I, a 24-year-old, already knew that I’m the same height as Jimin.”
However, some fans speculate that measurements provided by Google aren’t exact. The BTS members have been performing together since 2013. Some of them, especially the youngest, Jungkook, have grown since the group’s debut.
