New ’90 Day Fiancé’ Cast Member Marissa Has a Connection to Another Popular TLC Show
Marissa Rubinetti and Edward Miguel Gomez are sharing their story of international romance in the new season of 90 Day Fiancé.

Marissa and Edward’s unlikely relationship is a true tale of opposites attracting. She’s a 45-year-old mom of two who had her hands full balancing her high-powered New York City career with the expectations of her upper-crust socialite family. He’s an easygoing 36-year-old hotel concierge from the Dominican Republic whose laidback demeanor stands in contrast to her tightly scheduled life. But their “vast differences” didn’t stop Marissa from falling for him during a girls’ trip to Punta Cana.
However, turning a vacation romance into a lasting relationship comes with challenges, as Marissa and Edward quickly discover when he arrives in America.
“At first, I was like, ‘We’re going to get married as soon as you get to the United States. But now, reality is setting is,” she says in a teaser for the new season. “I don’t know if I want to give this single independent woman part of me up. But I love Edward so much that I want to take this leap of faith for us.”
While they’re eager to make things work, Edward begins to realize that fitting into Marissa’s world will be harder than he expected. They’ll also face judgement from Marissa’s tough ex-husband and her skeptical parents. With pressure on all sides, the pair must figure out whether love can bridge the gap between their very different social classes and cultural worlds.

Marissa and Edward are one of seven new couples joining the 90 Day Fiancé cast for the show’s 12th season. But even though Marissa is new to the 90 Day franchise, she’s not a complete stranger to TLC. As an executive at iconic NYC institution Kleinfeld Bridal, she’s appeared in the long-running show Say Yes to the Dress, which features brides-to-be selecting their dresses with the help of Randy Fenoli and the store’s other consultants.
“Look who was on “Say Yes to the Dress” last night,” he wrote in a May 2025 Instagram post that included a screencap of her greeting a client on the show.
“Say Yes reunion,” she captioned a 2022 photo of herself, Fenoli, and another woman.
Marissa has been working with Kleinfeld since 2021, when she joined the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Previously, she was vice president and divisional merchandise manager for David’s Bridal.
The new season of 90 Day Fiancé premieres, Sunday, May 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC. Episodes also stream on HBO Max.
