Alix Earle and Alex Cooper might be feuding right now, but at one point, they were business associates. Back in 2023, Alix Earle was one of the first famous faces to sign onto Cooper’s Unwell Network. She launched her Hot Mess podcast that same year, and things seemed to be going well. In February 2025, things took an odd turn. Earle announced that the podcast was going on hiatus, and Cooper stopped promoting it. Although the word “canceled” was never used, Earle and her podcast were dropped by the network. Rumors that creative differences, compensation disputes, and drama behind the scenes led to the pause started almost instantly.
The drama between Alix Earle and Alex Cooper really seems to have begun around March 2025. Shortly after leaving the network, Earle seemed to suggest she couldn’t continue podcasting. Fans were quick to pick up on the hints, later taking their concerns to Cooper’s comment section. Finally, Cooper addressed the issue, though she remained neutral. Cooper has had enough, it seems. Shortly after Alix Earle reposted a video suggesting Alex Cooper was akin to an “ambulance chaser,” Cooper took things public. She is now using her own social media channels to call out Earle directly.
In a short video posted to TikTok, Cooper addressed Earle directly, inviting her to tell her side of the story and to stop hiding behind other people’s videos. In the video, Cooper says, “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you got to say about me. There’s no NDA, no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.” Cooper went on to accuse the TikTok star of laying breadcrumbs about their feud to distract from “other” things going on in her life, though Cooper opted not to elaborate on what those other things are.
Has Alix Earle responded?
Fans hoping for the drama to be brought completely out in the open have, so far, been disappointed. Earle has responded to Cooper’s callout with three words. She simply replied to the video, “Okay, on it.” Nothing has come of that reply just yet, and it’s possible nothing actually will.
Earle has teased spilling the tea in the past. She has repeatedly insisted, when interacting with fans in the comments on her TikToks, that there is a big story to tell. Still, she hasn’t made good on her promises to spill it yet. While Earle claims she’s “on it,” most fans will believe it when they see it. For now, the drama seems squashed on Cooper’s end, but we will need to wait and see what happens next.
