A Psychic Told Kim Kardashian That North West Is Destined for Fame
North West is destined to be a star. Or so her mother Kim Kardashian claims.
The SKIMS mogul and reality TV icon is well-known for consulting psychics and other spiritual gurus for advice and insights. While they haven’t always been correct – predictions that she’d pass the bar exam with flying colors were famously wrong – some have hit the mark. That includes the multiple predictions that North West is made for big things.
Psychics have told Kim Kardashian that North West will ‘have a big career’
“Every time I go to a medium or something, they always say, ‘Your dad’s coming through to tell you that you’re not going to be able to stop North. She wants to have a big career. You’re not going to be able to hold it back,’” Kim said in a 2025 episode of The Kardashians. “For years everyone’s been telling me.”
While filming the confessional interview, a light flashed behind Kim.
“Did anybody see that light go off when you were saying that?” a crew member asked her.
“No,” she said. “Really? Was it my dad telling me that it’s OK to believe in it? I need to get on the phone with a medium soon.”
North, whom Kim shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West, is only 13 years old, but she’s already begun to dabble in multiple different careers. She made an appearance on one of her dad’s singles in 2024, the same year that she performed “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” at the Hollywood Bowl’s The Lion King 30th-anniversary concert. But not everyone was convinced she got that latter gig based on her merits. Critics said she only landed the high-profile role because of her famous parents. Kim said that wasn’t the case.
“North is the moment,” she said on The Kardashians. “They wanna see North West on a TikTok, on a this, on a anything, because she’s a personality, a performer.”
“And anyone who is hating on a kid is just like, a hater!” she added. “She’s not there to be, you know, Mariah Carey.”
‘The Kardashians’ later said psychics were ‘liars’
But since sharing the psychics’ predictions about North’s future, Kim has lost her faith in psychics. After she failed the California bar exam, she slammed those who’d convinced her she would pass.
“I’m just letting you guys know that all of the f*cking psychics that we have met with and that we’re obsessed with are all f*cking full of sh*t,” she said in a social media video posted in November 2025 (via ABA Journal). “They all collectively, maybe four of them, have told me I was gonna pass the bar. So they’re all full pathological liars. Don’t believe anything they say.”
