Megan Thee Stallion’s fairytale romance with Mavericks star Klay Thompson has come to an end. According to an X post from Pop Base, Megan took to her Instagram Stories in April 2026 to accuse Thompson of cheating.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house … got ‘cold feet,'” her Stories read. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? b**** I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall [sic].”

The night of the news, WNBA star Angel Reese took to social media to share her love and support for the rapper. Reese expressed this support in a reaction to Megan playing Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway.

“It’s the way you show up even while carrying so much — that’s what makes you THAT girl,” Reese posted to X. “You always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister.”

Megan and Reese developed a close relationship following a meeting at Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer Tour” in Chicago in May 2024. They created a TikTok together and showed each other love and support ever since. In an interview with USA Today, Megan praised Reese as her “girl.”

“Oh, I feel like everybody knows Angel Reese is my girl,” Megan said, according to the interview posted by MSN. “That’s my twin. I feel like she is also a girl who always has the collabs going on. She’s always working to be so athletic and so focused on her craft. She definitely still has an incredible work ethic off of the court. So, I think that’s really cool. And she’s so sweet and so nice….”
