The FIFA World Cup is currently taking place in stadiums across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Anyone in attendance at the games will likely have a great experience. Still, there are some stadiums that stick out as better than others. Here are the top-ranking stadiums in the United States to watch a World Cup game.

These stadiums rank as the best for watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup

U.S ticketing experts at TicketSource analyzed seating capacity, event volume, and Google Reviews. They used these to uncover which stadiums offer the best experience. They found that fans will have the best game day experience at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It scores an 8.9 out of 10

“Home to 269 sporting events since 2021, the Atlanta venue is no stranger to hosting huge crowds,” experts tell us. “With room for 71,000 fans and a rail station just a two-minute walk away (0.1 miles), it offers the perfect mix of atmosphere and accessibility for World Cup supporters.”

The stadium in second place at 8.5 out of 10 has rebranded itself for the World Cup. Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, is now Boston Stadium.

“The stadium has welcomed more than 200 sporting events over the past five years and makes getting to and from matches relatively straightforward, thanks to its nearby rail station and dedicated shuttle service. For travelling fans, that means less time worrying about transport and more time soaking up the World Cup experience.”

The third place venue will have more eyes on it than nearly any other in the tournament. At 7.0 out of 10, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey ranks in third.

“As the venue set to host the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, it’s likely to be one of the tournament’s most iconic locations,” they explain. “With a huge 82,500-seat capacity, the largest in the top three, and public transport within walking distance, it’s well-equipped to welcome tens of thousands of football fans for the biggest match of the competition.”

Other highly ranked stadiums include Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL; SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA; AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX; and NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.
