Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a rare public appearance together in Las Vegas recently, and Bey’s look had everyone talking.

The couple stepped out for a star-studded celebration on Oct. 25, marking the 20th anniversary of Jay’s champagne brand, Armand de Brignac, also known as Ace of Spades. The “99 Problems” rapper and “Crazy in Love” artist attended the event at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace, where Beyoncé turned heads in a striking green gown.

Bey donned a sage silk-chiffon slip dress with lace trim, a plunging neckline, and a high-slit hemline from the Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2027 Ready-to-Wear collection (“À Fleur de Peau”) with a feathered wrap/trim. She accessorized with natural diamonds from Chopard and carried a Judith Leiber Couture Peony crystal-embellished clutch bag that retails for $6,495. The songstress wore her hair in high half-up pigtails.

Fans gushed about Queen Bey’s look, writing, “Gorgeous as ever,” “A beauty,” and “Love this” with a heart emoji.

While Beyoncé opted for the flowing feathered green gown, Jay-Z kept his appearance sleek and understated, dressing in all black and accessorizing with a thick diamond-encrusted chain. However, many commented on what the “Can I Get A…” artist no longer has, noticing that he cut off his long locks.

“Jay Z looks much better with his new cut,” one person said.

“So glad he cut his hair, “another added, while a third posted, “Jay look good AF since he got that cut.”

One of the evening’s standout moments came when the pair settled into the nightclub’s VIP area where Beyoncé was seen dancing and throwing her hands in the air. The footage offered a candid look at the singer enjoying the music rather than performing onstage. Beyoncé is accustomed to commanding audiences during concerts, but this appearance showed her on the sidelines as a guest taking in the festivities.

Jay’s longtime friend and collaborator DJ Khaled attended the event and played a set before spraying the crowd with some Armand de Brignac champagne.

Bey and Jay’s appearance came the same day it was announced that the latter was the headliner for the Apple Music Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show, which will air live on Sunday, Feb. 14. The rap giant is expected to be joined by musical friends, including fellow hip-hop artist Nas.

Some made jokes about Jay-Z picking himself to headline the big show, but it’s been reported that in 2019, when Roc Nation signed on to produce the halftime show, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had one request: Jay-Z had to take the stage himself one day.
