Blake Lively Has Accepted She’s Not Going to Taylor Swift’s Wedding, Claims Source
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s once-close friendship reportedly fell apart amid the legal drama over the film It Ends With Us. Swift is the godmother to Lively’s three daughters, and she was frequently spotted out with the actor. Now, though, sources say that Lively won’t even receive an invite to Swift’s upcoming wedding. Lively has reportedly accepted this.

Lively and Justin Baldoni spent over a year locked in a legal battle over This Ends With Us. Swift was dragged into the proceedings when Baldoni’s team tried to depose her. Her texts with Lively also surfaced. Swift reportedly resented being part of the highly publicized case. She decided to step back from her friendship with Lively as a result.
The singer is “taking a break from their friendship right now. Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn,” an insider told Page Six.
At this point, Lively and Swift are reportedly still not on good terms. Sources say that Swift has not even invited her former friend to her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce.
“There hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship,” a source said. “And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake.”
At one point, Lively might have played a role in Swift’s wedding. Now, she reportedly has accepted that she will not be in attendance.
“There’s no ‘will she or won’t she’ about Blake being in the wedding, because she just won’t,” a source said, per Yahoo! Entertainment.
Court documents revealed problems in Blake Lively and Taylor Swift’s friendship
In the texts between Swift and Lively, the latter expressed concern about the state of their friendship.
“I have no reason to ask, but I donno [sic], I’ve been feeling like I should … is everything ok?” Lively wrote (via People). “I felt like a bad friend lately because I was such a sad sack who only talked about my own s*** for months. You were generous to not only be the key person there for me during all of it, but also to let me off the hook for being so in it.”
In her response, Swift said that Lively was “not wrong, but it’s also not a big deal.” She acknowledged that she knew Lively was going through a challenging time. Still, she noted that she’d seen a change in her.
“It’s more like… and I feel really bad saying anything about this because your texts have been so nice in their intent but your last few… it’s felt like I was reading a mass corporate email sent to 200 employees,” Swift wrote. “And it feels awful to be in any way critical of any way you process what you’ve been going through but I just kinda miss my funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself… And I know you feel attacked from all sides for ridiculous reasons so you’re feeling like you have to overly explain things… but. It’s me! That’s just caused a little distance.”
The ceremony reportedly has a star-studded guest list
While Lively will not attend the wedding, many other celebrities will be there to celebrate Swift and Kelce. People including Karlie Kloss, Zoë Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Suki Waterhouse, Gigi Hadid, and Selena Gomez are reportedly on the guest list.
The wedding will reportedly take place at Madison Square Garden.
