Brooklyn Beckham ‘Embarrassed’ by Actions in Paris as Rumors Circulate That He’s Trying to Upstage His Mom Victoria
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz were spotted together in Paris, while the rest of his famous family was also in town for Victoria Beckham’s Fashion Week show in the French capital.
Speculation has been circulating about whether the two were trying to purposely upstage Brooklyn’s mother with their public outings, PDA, and appearances at other shows like Balenciaga. The pair has been increasingly visible during the fashion season and Peltz has a particularly notable connection to Balenciaga’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, who spent years at Valentino and designed her wedding dress when she married Brooklyn in 2022.
For the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 presentation, the couple opted for coordinated but understated styling. Brooklyn wore a dark, tailored look, while Peltz appeared in a sleek black ensemble that emphasized the minimalist approach she has favored during Paris Fashion Week.
That appearance followed a more casual Paris outing earlier in the week, when Peltz wore a white Cou Cou Intimates top with low-rise black leather trousers, pointed black pumps, oversized sunglasses and a structured handbag. Brooklyn complemented her in a vintage white Apple T-shirt, loose cargo trousers, and black dress shoes.
Now, an expert is claiming that Brooklyn in showing signs that he was a little embarassed by his own antics with his wife while his family was also in town.
Inbaal Honigman is a body language expert. She has appeared in the media for more than two decades, offering her expertise and perspectives on several pop culture figures for Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio, to name a few.
Speaking on behalf of Casino Guru, Honigman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “As Brooklyn leads Nicola by the hand in front of the flashing bulbs of the press, he is feeling sheepish. He knows how childish and attention-seeking his actions appear, and he’s more than a little embarrassed.”
Honigman continued, “First, let’s figure out who’s in charge? Brooklyn’s hand takes the upper, dominant position when they’re holding hands. Brooklyn tugs a smiling Nicola along, all signs that he is leading from the front. This is not her who is leading from behind, Nicola is not the puppetmaster here. Brooklyn is making a bold step, and he’s fully behind it.
“Their feelings about this show of force are etched on Brooklyn’s face. He lowers his eyes; his hand is seen adjusting his glasses, indicating his mounting nerves and low mood. As they get closer, their hand positions alter. Nicola’s hand is now taking the literal upper hand. She’s not an innocent accomplice but is a full partner to this display.”
The expert added, “As she smiles a flat, insincere smile, it is Brooklyn who flashes a truly eye-catching facial arrangement. His tight-lipped smile, lowered brow, and raised chin is more of a grimace than a show of happiness. It is an apologetic expression, as Brooklyn wonders whether he’s crossed a line.”
Showbiz Cheat Sheet acknowledges that conditions and cultures can impact body language and is sensitive to all backgrounds.
