The actor and his new wife are pretty busy these days, with a new project leading the pair to set down roots in a new city. Still, he has family on his mind. In a recent interview, Turner opened up about what comes next, and children are in the plan.

Callum Turner had answers about his future ready when he sat down with Esquire UK for a chat. When asked what he hoped the next ten years of his life would look like, both personally and professionally, Turner said he wanted “more of the same” when it came to work, suggesting he’s happy with where his career is headed and content to keep building on it. There will be one major shakeup to his personal life if he has any say about it. Turner wants kids with Dua Lipa. When pressed on whether starting a family is a priority for him, Turner didn’t hesitate. “Obviously, yeah, I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids,” he said.
Turner believes he’d make a good father, noting that he is a stable force who values structure and routine, all qualities he thinks will help while rearing kids, despite his busy schedule. He isn’t standing alone in those desires, either. Last year, Dua Lipa talked to British Vogue about her future plans. At the time,she said she’d “love to have kids one day.” She didn’t offer a timeline for kids. She also acknowledged that her touring schedule would be something she’d need to navigate on her journey to motherhood. Lipa is a few years younger than Turner at 31.
They are living in New York for the summer
Whatever comes next for the pair might happen in New York. Following their wedding and honeymoon, the newlyweds relocated to New York City for the summer. The move coincides with Turner filming a new project alongside Margaret Qualley. The pair have been spotted around town, but it is unclear if they’ll set down long-term roots in the Big Apple. Lipa maintains a London home that she has spent years renovating. Turner has been tied to London for years, too.
Dua Lipa is using her time in New York for work-related activities, too. She’s been spotted visiting a music studio multiple times since landing in New York. While she hasn’t announced new music just yet, fans feel confident it is coming.
When did they get married?
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner tied the knot on May 31 at a private ceremony in London. The pair chose Old Marylebone Town Hall as the place to seal the deal. They later celebrated with friends and family at Villa Valguarnera in Sicily.
More than 200 guests attended the Sicily wedding, including Charli XCX, Elton John, Joe Alwyn, and Donatella Versace. The couple then extended their celebration with an Italian honeymoon before beginning the next chapter of married life together in New York.
Turner discussed the ceremony and celebration during his chat with Esquire, describing it as “the most beautiful day of my life.” He admitted to being a bit shocked by how invested fans were in his love life, as well as his marriage.
