Turner proposed less than a year later, and it has been all wedding planning since.

Everything you need to know about Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s Palermo wedding venue

While Dua Lipa and Callum Turner haven’t confirmed their plans, insiders insist the pair are set to wed at in Palermo. According to  Leisurebyte, the lovebirds are planning a three-day event at the 121-year-old, five-star luxury palazzo overlooking the Mediterranean.

The property has a history as remarkable as its architecture, though it is a bit complicated. Villa Igiea was originally built as a sanatorium by the Florio family in 1899. The concept was simple. It was supposed to be a high-end spa-like environment for wealthy tuberculosis patients. The concept failed. Most people stricken with the disease had neither the money nor the ability to travel to such a location.

Still, through the early 20th century, it hosted royalty for lavish lunches and meetings. During the World Wars, it was converted into a hospital, before it was eventually transformed into a hotel. While Hollywood’s elite have visited the location over the years, lending to its mystique, its popularity has ebbed and flowed. Villa Igiea has enjoyed years of intense popularity and periods of terrible disrepair.

Today, it has been restored to the five-star hotel of its heyday, just in time for Dua Lipa and Callum Turner’s 2026 wedding. The property was acquired in 2019, and a $50 million restoration project brought it back to its former glory. The backdrop will be perfect for Turner and Lipa’s big day.

As for when it is all supposed to go down, the pair is aiming for a fall wedding. Reports from Giornale di Sicilia and Vanity Fair indicate that the festivities are slated to run from September 5 to 7, 2026. Their itinerary is rumored to include gala dinners and boat excursions along the Tyrrhenian Sea. The hotel has a week blocked out for the event. Dozens of A-list stars, including Elton John and Olivia Dean, are expected to attend.
