Patrick Bateman is at the top of the list of the most attractive horror movie villains
Ahead of Halloween, Psychic World looked at ten iconic horror movie villains. Bateman, who was portrayed by Christian Bale in American Psycho, scored a 95 on their sex appeal scale. His features earned him 84% against the golden ratio. He also has a significant number of posts praising his looks on X (formerly Twitter).
Bale narrowly edges out Hannibal Lecter and Norman Bates. They are tied in second place with a score of 94 on their sex appeal scale. The study noted that Mads Mikkelsen’s portrayal of the infamous cannibal contributed to his score. He received an 84% against the golden ratio, while Bates, who was first portrayed by Anthony Perkins, received a 79%.
Perhaps surprisingly, Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddie Krueger ranks next, with an 84 on the sex appeal scale. Pinhead, Jigsaw, Pennywise, Leatherface, Michael Myers, and Jason Voorhees are also on the scale.
