Who Is Denver Broncos Star Patrick Surtain II’s Girlfriend, Kevia Higdon?
After playing his college ball at the University of Alabama, Patrick Surtain II was selected by the Denver Broncos in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has been voted to three Pro Bowls and is one of the best shut-down corners in the league.
If his name sounds familiar, that’s because his father also played cornerback in the NFL. He was with the Miami Dolphins from 1998 to 2004 and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2005 to 2008. He’s currently the defensive backs coach for Florida State University. In 2016, he was the head coach at American Heritage School, the high school where his son played under him when he was one of the top-ranked players in his class.
Now fans want to know all about Surtain who, just like his dad, has become a star in the league. Here’s more about the athlete and his girlfriend, Kevia Higdon.
How Surtain and Higdon met and how long they’ve been together
Higdon graduated from Auburn High School, before she attended the University of Alabama and that’s where she met Surtain.
The two crossed paths in 2021 and have been dating ever since. And while they don’t specifically give details about their relationship, they have appeared on social media together countless times over the years, including for the 2024 NFL Honors ceremony when Surtain won Defensive Player of the Year.
Higdon posted a few snaps of them that evening and captioned the pics: “Me & my DPOY” with a heart emoji.
Higdon is active mostly on TikTok and boasts over 18,000 followers. Her videos touch on a variety of topics ranging from fashion to skincare to traveling, and Surtain has been featured in several of her videos.
What Higdon does for a living
Higdon works as a model and is signed with The Block Agency, which is based out of Nashville, Tennessee, but also has offices in Austin and Denver where her man plays.
In addition, she is the founder of her own beauty and skincare brand called Esthetics By Kevia and has a separate Instagram handle to promote her brand and its products.

Higdon is an esthetician as well and specializes in facials and body waxing.
Higdon documents her and Surtain’s travels together
One look at Higdon’s social media and you’ll see she likes to travel. She’s documented some of the trips she and her beau have taken together like when they flew into Las Vegas and she couldn’t believe the temperature was 107 degrees.
In the entertianing TikTok video, she explained that from there they hopped a connecting flight to Canada but had trouble sleeping and getting their bodies adjusted to the time zone. At the end of the video she asked her followers if they can guess where she’s headed.
However, she didn’t reveal the destination then. But in a separate follow-up video, Higdon shared that it was Bali.
