Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were among the famous faces who attended the World Cup Final between Spain and Argentina on July 19. While the two certainly aren’t strangers when it comes to attending major sporting events, their PDA outing while at the match has an expert questioning why they were there.

Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert. He previously worked as a police officer and later moved into media. He has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector” and said that the actor and reality star appeared far more interested in each other than the action on the pitch.

Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “I wonder why Timothee and Kylie attend any event at all because they spend most of their time looking into each other’s eyes and not at the sport, but inside their own bubble.

“They have fixed gaze eye contact. There are high levels of rapport and connection, and they have an intuitive way of interacting with each other. Whenever we see them out together in public, they always display the same body language, showing us that this is the real deal and they are very much in love.”

Stanton added, “They are well into their relationship now, and often the honeymoon period fizzles out as they find a baseline but Timothée and Kylie are still in that bubble; they have no issues with public displays of affection. They attend more events together now and are happy to be seen together, but in their own mind they are focusing on each other and making sure they are OK and not worried about the cameras.”

Showbiz Cheat Sheet acknowledges that conditions and cultures can impact body language and is sensitive to all backgrounds.
