A$AP Rocky is in the midst of his Don’t Be Dumb tour. While he’s been receiving praise for his performances thus far, he’s now catching a lot of heat for comments he made that many have labeled as very “disrespectful” to Rihanna.

A video circulating online shows the rapper pause the music during his tour stop in Phoenix, Arizona, to tell women in the audience: “Thank God y’all didn’t know me when I was single, ’cause I would’ve f***** the s*** out of you if you was pretty.” And in another video clip from a tour stop in Orlando, Florida, Rocky can be heard telling two ladies in the crowd, “You’re fine as f***. You and your friend, fine as f***” as he serenades them.

His comments rubbed many fans the wrong way because he’s been in a relationship with Rihanna since 2020 and they share three children: sons RZA and Riot, and daughter, Rocki.

Since his remarks did sit well with the “Rihanna Navy,” they let Rocky know and dragged him on social media.

“Rihanna gave that man a redemption arc, two kids, and a career resurgence, and he’s on stage telling other women he would’ve slept with them. That’s not flattery. That’s a man reminding you he sees you as a body first,” one user wrote.

Another added, “This is just outright disrespectful to [Rihanna] and disgusting to objectify women like that.”

“How you gon disrespect the breadwinner of the house like that?” a third asked, while a fourth said, “Release him queen.”

Another user wondered if A$AP ever listened to Rihanna’s “Breakin’ Dishes” lyrics, posting, “Embarrassing … So he didn’t hear all her songs cause all I heard after that was …I’m breaking dishes up in here all night … I ain’t gonna stop until I see police and lights … cause that’s how I would be waiting at the house.”

Other fans chimed in with, “I’M BREAKING DISHES UP IN HERE ALLLLL NIIIIIIGHT” and “Siri play ‘Breaking Dishes’ by Rihanna.”

And some threw out one-liners, including, “His intrusive thoughts always seem to win,” “Men will embarrass you every time,” and “3 babies y’all!!!”

But not everyone was convinced that Rocky committed a cardinal sin or that RiRi would even have a problem with what he said.

“I don’t think it was that deep, he’s having a little kii, we all know where home is,” one person posted.

Others claimed, “He’s talking to the MEN in the audience,” and “They must have an open relationship atp … cause ain’t no way he that bold.”

A fourth Rocky defender wrote, “At least he said it and not acting on it, ya let him reminisce.”

A fifth opined, “I’m gonna assume this is just part of the tour and Rihanna is aware of it.”

And another concluded, “The lack of reading/ listening comprehension in these comments is frying me. Y’all must be young cuz Rocky, like most rappers, was having his fun back in the day, lmfaooo. Listen to F*ckin Problems.”
