A fortune teller predicted Taylor Swift’s future life
In 2006, Swift visited a fortune teller to seek insight about her future. He had many predictions about the course her life could take. Ultimately, she married roughly a decade after he predicted.
“From what I could understand, I’m going to be divorced,” she said in a video. “I’m going to be married before I’m 26 but divorced.”
He also had negative predictions about her love life before her marriage.
“If I have a boyfriend in the near future, we’re going to argue a lot,” she said.
She added that he predicted he would have multiple children. In the past, Swift has said that she wants a big family.
“I’m going to have two to four children, but I need to watch myself while I’m pregnant or else it won’t work out,” she said.
He also predicted that while she had some rocky years ahead of her, she would establish herself as highly successful.
“2007 is going to be no good for me, but 2008 is going to be very good,” she said. “2009 is going to be when I will become really, really rich. And he said I’m going to become a millionaire before I’m 50.”
Swift, who is now a billionaire, has far surpassed this prediction about her future wealth.

Swift has been working toward a career as a singer since she was a child. She was so persistent that her mother took her to Nashville and let her drop off her demos at record labels.
“My mom and my little brother all went to Nashville and — drove up and down Music Row,” she told NBC News. “My mom would stop in front of a record label. And I’d run in and hand them my CD, to the receptionist. And I’d be like, hi. I’m Taylor. I want a record deal. Call me.”
For a while, she didn’t hear back from labels. When she finally got feedback, she used it as motivation.
“I think I got a call from someone and they were like, just wanted to let you know we got your CD, and we wanted to say keep trying,” she said. “That’s when I learned how to play guitar. And I started writing my own songs.”
