Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Are About to Walk Down the Aisle But Her Engagement Ring Has Been ‘One of Hollywood’s Best-Kept Secrets’
Wedding bells are about to be ringing for Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld. While the pair had been trying to keep details about their big day under wraps, one of the NFL star‘s teammates, Dion Dawkins, accidentally let the date slip a couple of months back.
The quarterback and his fiancée began dating in 2023 following Allen’s breakup with longtime girlfriend, Brittany Williams. After being spotted on a date in New York City with Steinfeld, Allen admitted that he was surprised at how interested people were in their romance, telling the Pardon My Take podcast, “The fact that anybody cares about that blows my mind.”
Allen may not have expected too many people to care about their actual wedding date either, but plenty of fans have been sending their congrats before the athlete and Pitch Perfect actress tie the knot on May 31.

Back in March, on an episode of Good Morning Football, host Kyle Brandt asked Dawkins about Allen’s upcoming nuptials and looked stunned when the offensive tackle began to share the details.
“Josh Allen is one of those guys, and he sealed that deal,” Dawkins told Brandt, before adding: “Soon to come May 31st; it’s happening.”
After spilling the beans on the wedding date, Dawkins was careful months later not to let anything else slip and played coy about the subject on another program.
During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Dawkins was asked what he’s getting the pair for a wedding gift. The lineman tasked with protecting Allen during games joked that he’s already given his quarterback the best gift, saying: “Josh can walk down the aisle in one piece, and be happy that he’s walking down the aisle with all fingers and all toes.”

When the couple shared the news of their engagement via Instagram, they posted a photo of the Bills signal-caller down on one knee as the Sinners actor leaned in to kiss him under an archway of flowers and a beautiful backdrop in Malibu. But Steinfeld didn’t share a close-up of her ring. Therefore, we had to settle for just seeing glimpses of it when she attended different red carpet events and premieres.
