Hailey Bieber Addressed the Rumor That She Calls the Paparazzi on Herself

Hailey Bieber’s career and marriage to Justin Bieber mean that she is no stranger to the paparazzi. People photograph Bieber nearly every time she steps out of the house. She has admitted to having a difficult relationship with fame. Because of this, she said she finds it funny that some people believe she calls the paparazzi to photograph her.

Hailey Bieber denied calling the paparazzi on herself

Bieber comes from a famous family, and her marriage only made her more visible. She has admitted that being in the public eye is not easy.

“I think it’s so easy to misunderstand people and pick things apart, see a tiny sliver of such a bigger picture. I’ve realized there’s no amount of explaining yourself,” she said, per People. “It really doesn’t make a difference at all.”

She said that dealing with the paparazzi is one of the more difficult parts of being famous.

“Historically, we’ve seen that paparazzi are awful,” she told Interview Magazine. “I don’t think it’s gotten any better or any worse.”

Still, she said she sees speculation that she calls the paparazzi to get them to photograph her. She finds this ridiculous. 

“The spirit behind it is very dark and I don’t think it’s something that anybody asks for in this world, so I find it really funny when I’ll see people online being like, ‘She calls the paparazzi on herself every day.’ It’s so icky.”
