“Studios hate distractions,” a source said, per Reality Tea. “There are still people who think Timothée’s campaign lost momentum because the conversation became more about celebrity culture than acting.”
The source added that studios “don’t want nonstop tabloid coverage overshadowing the actor.”
As a result, Elordi’s “team wants the focus on his career — not his vacation photos.” Despite this, he received a bit of attention after he dropped out of the Cannes jury for a foot injury. He was later spotted out with Jenner.

“They have a lot of fun together,” a source told People. They added that the couples have “similar personalities and lifestyles,” so they “all really get along.”
Chalamet and Elordi are both “already know each other and were friendly before Kendall and Jacob were getting close,” the source added. “They spent a lot of time around each other during the award season and naturally run in similar circles.”
Despite their levels of fame, the source said that neither couple is looking for attention.
“They’re both actually pretty low-key,” the source said, adding, “They like to stay out of the spotlight when they can. They have a lot of respect for each other.”
His relationship with Kendall Jenner is reportedly heating up
Rumors about Elordi’s relationship with Kendall started after people spotted them kissing at Coachella. They later took a trip to Hawaii together.
“Kendall and Jacob have become very close recently,” a source told Us Weekly. “They were excited to get away to Hawaii and have some downtime together.”
While they have not made their relationship official, they have reportedly been getting more serious.
“This has been going on since January, but things are progressing, and they have been consistently seeing each other when they can,” the source said. “It is much more serious now, without a label.”
The source added that they seem to be a good fit for each other.
“Kendall especially likes that Jacob is very funny and easy to be around, and she seems really happy and relaxed when she’s with him,” the source said. “They’ve been spending more private time together behind the scenes and have become much more comfortable in each other’s inner circles.”
