Jax Taylor and his publicist, Lori Krebs, were spotted together at a pool in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Krebs, who represented both Taylor and his ex-wife, Brittany Cartwright, cozied up to the former reality star. This is not the first time that people have speculated about Taylor’s relationship with his publicist. Rumors of an affair between them surfaced as early as 2024, when Taylor was still married to Cartwright.

Taylor and Krebs visited the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta earlier this month. A witness at the resort pool said that they were hugging and showing PDA.

“At one point, a random woman at the pool was trying to give them relationship advice,” the eyewitness told Us Weekly. “I asked him, ‘How long have they been married?’ And he said ‘we’re both happily divorced.’”

The eyewitness said that it was clear that the pair were more than just friends. 

“They had their arms wrapped around each other and looked very close,” they said. “It seemed obvious that they were very much together.”

Taylor and Krebs first sparked rumors in 2024, when he was still married to Cartwright. The longtime couple separated in early 2024, though they both said they had hopes to reconcile. In February 2024, Taylor posted a picture of himself embracing Krebs. Cartwright defended him against rumors that they were involved.

“She’s our publicist and [a] very, very good friend of mine so a photo like that, people I know were saying a lot of crap about it, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal…” she said on their podcast When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. “So, I want to make that clear, because Lori’s an amazing publicist, a super hard worker, and she does so much amazing work for us. I just want to make sure we clear that up because that’s just ridiculous.”

Taylor also denied that anything was going on between him and his publicist.

“Oh, that, not again. That was all just hearsay, and it’s just a shame that that happened,” he told ET in April of that year. “But yeah, no, nothing happened there.”

Taylor and Cartwright dealt with infidelity throughout their relationship, notably having an affair with Faith Stowers on the sixth season of Vanderpump Rules. Because of this, many people hesitated to believe him.

Brittany Cartwright is not happy about the photos

Cartwright is reportedly aware of the photos and feels hurt by them.

“She’s feeling betrayed by Lori more than Jax because she doesn’t expect much from him at this point,” a source told Page Six.

The fact that she previously defended Krebs added insult to injury. 

“When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on,” the source said. “She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?”

Krebs still represents Cartwright, but the source doubts they will continue to work together.

“There is no way [Cartwright] will continue working with [Krebs] at this point,” the source said. “Lori has always inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients — like photo opps and red carpets — but this time, she inserted herself into her clients’ divorce and crossed a line she cannot come back from.”
