Love isn’t just in the air for Jenelle Evans; it has her in a chokehold. She’s even relocating for it. After more than two years of trash-talking David Eason on social media, she’s putting the bad blood behind her and giving the romance another go. Well, at least that’s what we all assume is going on. Jenelle has not confirmed that she and David Eason are back together, but the signs are all there. They were even spotted packing up Jenelle’s Las Vegas abode for yet another fresh start. It looks like life is taking the former couple to Florida.

It’s been two years since Jenelle Evans fled North Carolina. At the time, she claimed she was leaving the state to put some mileage between herself and dastardly ex-husband, David Eason. Most of the internet agreed she packed up her kids and moved out west for a man.

Now that that relationship is long dead, she’s leaving Vegas behind, and David is the one seemingly orchestrating the move. TMZ obtained footage of the controversial pair packing her belongings into a U-Haul this week. The outlet claims David even helped load Jenelle’s car onto a flatbed for its own cross-country trek. While Jenelle hasn’t revealed where her next stop is, a source told TMZ that she and her love interest are headed to the Sunshine State. Interestingly enough, Jenelle had contemplated a move to Florida during her brief return to Teen Mom: The Next Chapter before opting to head west for August Keen. She’s no longer on the series, and she’s no longer dating August.

While Jenelle Evans and David Eason are clearly back together again, despite all of the drama, they technically aren’t supposed to be. Jenelle actually has an active protective order against David Eason, and it does not expire until November.

That’s not the only legal drama attached to this rekindled romance, either. David still has a pending criminal case stemming from a 2023 incident involving Jenelle’s son, Jace Evans. According to grand jury documents, David attacked Jace after a family squabble and used his hands to squeeze the teenager’s throat. Jace was just 14 at the time.

Jace was expected to potentially testify against David at trial, though the likelihood of that is now in question after Jace was placed into inpatient mental health treatment. It remains unclear where exactly Jace currently is. His biological father, Andrew Lewis, and his grandmother, Barbara Evans, are seeking to gain custody of the teen. Jenelle’s other two children, Ensley Eason, whom she shares with David, and Kaiser Griffith, whom she shares with Nathan Griffith, are currently in her care.
