However, this professional triumph comes amid swirling rumors about her marriage to Justin Bieber. Speculation about a rift intensified when Justin unfollowed Hailey on Instagram, only to later clarify that his account had been tampered with. Now, an attorney says that if the couple were to split, Justin could “absolutely” get a cut of Hailey’s sensational Rhode deal.

Despite their significant financial differences, the couple opted to forgo legal protections, believing their union was built to last.

However, with Hailey’s recent $1 billion sale of her skincare brand, Rhode, to e.l.f. Beauty, questions have arisen about the implications of their lack of a prenup. Under California’s community property laws, assets acquired during marriage are typically divided equally in the event of a divorce, potentially entitling Justin to a portion of Rhode’s value, despite his minimal involvement in its creation and growth.

Attorney Jamie E. Wright spoke to The U.S. Sun about what could possibly happen if Justin and Hailey divorced.

“Unless there is a clear postnuptial agreement that carves it out as her separate asset, Justin could absolutely be entitled to a cut, whether through direct profits, equity value, or settlement leverage,” Wright noted of Hailey’s Rhode deal. “Even if he didn’t lift a finger to help build the brand, the law doesn’t always care. If marital resources, joint lifestyle, or indirect contributions supported Hailey while she was building Rhode, a court might give him a piece of the pie. Without a legal wall, her billion-dollar business just became their billion-dollar asset.”

An insider told The U.S. Sun that Hailey Bieber was “screaming with joy” when she struck a deal with e.l.f. Beauty.

“Despite everything going on with Justin, she remained focused and poured her energy into her company,” the source noted. “When everything was finalized, she couldn’t stop crying and screaming with joy. I haven’t seen her like this since the birth of her son.”

The source added that Hailey’s accomplishments with Rhode mark a “lifetime dream for her” — and it doesn’t stop here. Hailey allegedly wants to reinvest some of the money into clothing and real estate. The former model also wants to contribute to women’s and children’s charities.

According to the source, Hailey wants to make a “positive, lasting impact on society, especially during these challenging times when minorities and vulnerable groups, including LGBTQ+ individuals, face significant challenges in areas like education and empowerment.”

And there’s nothing you can do about that. I’ve been in a position where I’ve tried to tell my side of a story or correct a narrative or tell the truth of a lie, and then they go, Well, she’s lying. Imagine how trapping that feels.”

Hailey noted that she’s learned the most about navigating the media from Justin. “He’s been doing this literally since he was a child, and he has had to face the most scrutiny of any person that I know,” she said. “He was like, ‘Baby, trust me, I’ve been here before many, many times. You’re not going to win. There is no winning.'”
