Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-husband, Tate Paul, are currently engaged in a custody battle. Tate filed for a temporary restraining order against her and also filed a petition to change the terms of their divorce and custody agreement. How many children does the former couple share? 

Taylor Frankie Paul and Tate Paul were married for six years

In 2016, Taylor and Tate married. They welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Indy, in 2017. 

“Indy May Paul officially arrived Aug 31st weighing 6lbs 9oz. She is perfection and we are so obsessed with our baby girl,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “We are so blessed.”

In 2020, they welcomed a son named Ocean.

“Ocean Paul arrived 4 days ago,” she wrote. “6 lbs 15 oz with lots of hair and a sweet soul.”

Two years later, Taylor and Tate were involved in a “soft swinging” scandal, in which they became intimate with other couples. Taylor admitted she crossed the boundaries they set, resulting in the end of her marriage.

“For Tate and I, I think it’s best that we separate and divorce, and kind of find ourselves and find what makes us happy, start fresh,” she said in a TikTok. “I think there’s been a lot of evil around us and we’ve participated in, obviously… And I think we need a fresh start and to kind of wake up. This was a good wake up call for us and our entire friend group.”

Taylor has one other child with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

On June 30, Tate filed a motion for a temporary restraining order against Taylor. He also filed a petition to modify the terms of their divorce and custody agreement.

This comes amid Taylor’s custody battle with Mortensen. Per People, police are currently investigating whether Taylor violated the restraining order that Mortensen has against her.

Tate Paul said co-parenting with Taylor Frankie Paul wasn’t going well

Taylor and Tate have been co-parenting their children for several years. He said that, for the most part, they have had a peaceful co-parenting relationship. Recently, though, things have reportedly taken a turn. Mortensen’s roommate, Cru Eaton, hosted a livestream. In the comments, Tate posted about his dynamic with Taylor.

“My co-parenting relationship has been peaceful for the most part,” he wrote. “The last few months has been not so.”

A source close to Taylor admitted that their co-parenting relationship had grown more complicated.

“The last few months have, of course, complicated their co-parenting dynamic, but they’re navigating it together,” a source told People. “She’s committed to maintaining a strong relationship with him and tackling the challenges that have arisen.”
