Here’s why a relationship expert says if Kardashian and Lewis make their carpet debut at the Met, it would mark a “defining moment” for their public image.

The expert explained that it is so important for celebrity couples to control the narrative around their official relationship reveal.

“For a pairing like Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton, narrative control is especially important because both are constantly under intense media scrutiny, and this will only multiply when they are together,” Lucas said. “Kim is highly experienced in shaping public perception and managing media cycles, while Lewis is used to global attention but in a different way. Because of the additional attention which appears in high-profile relationships, a lot of celebrities’ social movements can get taken out of context, and it can get confusing for the public and the people they are dating too.
