Kylie Jenner $50 Million Fantasy Bra Is Significantly More Expensive Than Previous Ones

At this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Kylie Jenner wore a Fantasy Bra worth $50 million. The showstopping piece of lingerie has well over 4,000 diamonds, including one that was 75.54 carats. According to a jewelry expert, the price tag on this bra is significantly higher than on ones in years past.

Jenner’s Fantasy Bra had a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow diamond and over 4,400 natural diamonds. The bra, which took 15 people over 1,000 hours to make, is worth $50 million. Justin Daughters, the Managing Director at Berganza, said that this bra stands out amongst Fantasy Bras in the past.

“The Fantasy Bra has always been jewellery as pure spectacle, but this year’s design is particularly extraordinary because of the diamond at its centre,” he explained. “The 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow diamond is remarkable not simply because of its size, but because of the intensity of its colour. Fancy Vivid is the highest colour intensity grade for yellow diamonds, and its rich, saturated hue gives the stone incredible presence.”

The quality of the yellow diamond is part of what makes the piece so impressive to Daughters.

“Yellow is one of the more commonly encountered fancy diamond colours, but there’s a significant difference between a pale yellow diamond and one with the depth and saturation of a Fancy Vivid stone,” he said. “The combination of colour and size makes this centrepiece exceptionally striking. Set against thousands of white diamonds, the contrast makes the yellow centre appear even more vivid, drawing the eye straight to the heart of the design.”

It also had a radiant cut, which maximizes its sparkle. It stood out against the white diamonds around it.

“The surrounding stones are just as important to the overall effect,” Daughters said. “The white diamonds frame the yellow centrepiece, while the cascading diamond strands create movement and make the whole piece feel almost fluid. It’s a clever contrast between the precision of fine jewellery and the movement you’d usually associate with fabric.”

Each year, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show features a new Fantasy Bra. Jenner’s is significantly more expensive than ones in the past.

“The reported $50 million (£37.5 million) valuation puts this year’s Fantasy Bra in a league of its own,” Daughters said. “Gisele Bündchen’s 2000 Red Hot Fantasy Bra was reportedly valued at $15 million (£11.25 million), while Elsa Hosk’s 2018 Fantasy Bra was valued at around $1 million (£750,000). This latest design represents a substantial jump, although it’s worth remembering that these are reported valuations rather than prices achieved through an actual sale.”

Given the amount of diamonds and level of craftsmanship, Daughters said the high cost doesn’t surprise him.

“What makes this year’s piece especially interesting is that the value is about more than a headline-grabbing number,” he said. “The design features 4,409 natural diamonds surrounding the central yellow diamond, bringing the total to 4,410. Its creation involved 15 craftspeople working for more than 1,000 hours. That level of craftsmanship is particularly significant because the piece has been engineered to move with the wearer, requiring the arrangement of the stones and settings to balance visual impact with flexibility.”

Daughters described the design as “spectacular.”
