When Will ‘Married at FIrst Sight’ Season 20 Premiere? Peacock Reveals Release Window
Peacock has quietly dropped some big news about Married at First Sight Season 20.
The next season of the reality relationship series will premiere this summer, the streamer announced during its upfront presentation on May 11.
Peacock confirmed that MAFS Season 20 was on the way during the season 19 reunion in late 2025. The new season with reportedly take place in Seattle and follow a new group of expert-matched couples who meet moments before saying “I do” at the altar and then embark on an eight-week trial marriage before revealing whether they plan to stay together on Decision Day.
‘Married at First Sight’ gets new experts for season 20
Married at First Sight was a staple of Lifetime’s programming lineup for years, but in 2025, the show moved to Peacock for its 19th season. Season 20 will bring more changes. MAFS’ trio of longtime experts – Pastor Cal Roberson, Dr. Pia Holec, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz – have all left the show. They’ll be replaced by a new team of experts who will match the couples and provide guidance during their trial marriages.
“We’re thrilled to be embarking on a brand new chapter of the MAFS journey with our partners at Peacock. We’re excited for the future and honored to have worked alongside Dr. Pepper, Pastor Cal, and Dr. Pia,” Kinetic founder and CEO Chris Coelen told Variety earlier this year. “Dr. Pepper has been with us from the beginning and Pastor Cal joined us shortly thereafter; their unwavering wisdom, insight, and passion has been a guiding light for us throughout the seasons.”
“Being part of Married at First Sight has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my professional life,” Schwartz said in a statement. “…As I step away, I do so with immense pride in what this franchise has accomplished and deep confidence in its future. I leave this post with gratitude and optimism, knowing that the foundation we’ve built will continue to evolve and inspire.”
