For its milestone 20th season (and its second on Peacock) the social experiment/reality series Married at First Sight is shaking things up with more couples, a refreshed panel of relationship gurus, and a new summer release schedule.
Season 20 takes the ultimate leap of faith to the Pacific Northwest, setting up camp in the vibrant city of Seattle. Producers are promising a reimagined version of the groundbreaking series, teasing a larger cast than ever before, fresh relationship dynamics, and significantly deeper emotional stakes. Based on the teaser, viewers can also expect intense group therapy sessions with the show’s experts.
Meet the New ‘MAFS’ Experts

To guide this massive new group of singles marrying complete strangers, MAFS is also shaking up its coaching couch. Two new experts have replaced the previous trio of Dr. Pepper Schwartz (who had been with the show since its first season), Pastor Cal Roberson, and Dr. Pia Holec.
- Paul C. Brunson is an internationally renowned matchmaker, relationship coach, author and host of Married at First Sight: UK and Celebs Go Dating. Brunson is also the global insights director for Tinder. He’s committed to helping people navigate their past to take control of their future, empowering them to build the healthy, fulfilling life they deserve.
- Dr. Lisa Paz, LMFT, is a marriage and family therapist, certified clinical sexologist, and relationship and intimacy expert. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Paz specializes in helping individuals and couples navigate the complex worlds of physical intimacy and relationship hurdles.
‘Married at First Sight’ Season 20 Release Schedule
Married at First Sight Season 20 kicks off on Sunday, July 12, exclusively on Peacock.
After the July 12 premiere, the show will pivot to dropping multi-episode batches every Thursday starting July 16. The 20-episode season wraps up with a finale and reunion event in late August.

- July 16: Episodes 2 and 3
- July 23: Episodes 4, 5, and 6
- July 30: Episodes 7, 8, and 9
