The Giudice family just can’t seem to stay out of trouble, and this time it’s one of the Giudice girls stirring the pot. According to several reports, Milania Giudice, the third child of Teresa and Joe Giudice, had a run-in with police last month, resulting in an arrest. The details of what happened are a little hazy, but Milania appears to be dropping cryptic quotes about her legal drama. Here’s what we know so far.

Milania Giudice arrested

Teresa Giudice is heading back to Bravo for another season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but her third daughter is moving in a very different direction. Milania, who had been living in Florida during the academic year, was arrested on May 14, 2026, for simple assault. The Sun was the first to report on the incident.

While the specifics remain unknown, the arrest took place in Montville, the New Jersey township where the Giudice family currently lives. Police Chief Andrew Caggiano said in a statement that officers responded to a report of a dispute at a residence just after 6 p.m. on May 14. That is where Milania was taken into custody.

Milania has not yet entered an official plea, but she has been charged with simple assault. The alleged victim’s name has not been released, and the matter is still pending.

She seems unbothered in her recent social media uploads

Milania has not directly addressed the arrest, though she did appear to respond between the lines. After news of her legal trouble broke, she reshared a series of cryptic messages to her Instagram Story. One read, “None of us sit high enough to look down on anybody. Be humble.” She also shared a post praising mothers, which many read as a sign that whatever happened had nothing to do with Teresa. In fact, on May 18, Milania had posted a tribute to her mom on Instagram in honor of Teresa’s birthday, weeks before the arrest news broke.

None of it seemed to be weighing on Milania before the story went public, either. In the stretch between her arrest and the headlines, she came across as entirely unbothered, posting vacation content and sharing photos from her sophomore year of college.

Where she has been in recent months?

The arrest has left some fans wondering what Milania was even doing back in the Garden State. Though she was born and raised in New Jersey, she now spends most of her time out of state. The 20-year-old has spent most of the past 12 months in Florida, where she is enrolled at the University of Tampa.

The school wrapped its spring semester on May 8, sending the rising junior out of her dorm and back to her mother’s house. Milania clearly enjoyed her sophomore year, but she struggled during her first year in the Sunshine State, according to an appearance on sister Gia Giudice’s podcast, Casual Chaos.

The Giudice family has not released a public statement about the incident.
