Selena Gomez recently took her fans down memory lane with a new TikTok video. The singer appeared to be candidly looking back at her relationship with Nick Jonas. 

The Calm Down crooner flaunted her off-the-shoulder, shimmery red Prada dress for her fourth annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit. Being the woman of the hour, Gomez dolled up in glitzy attire with matching red heels. She also gave her fans a good look at her outfit in a fun TikTok video. 

She could be seen showing her heels on the Jonas Brothers’ hit track Burnin’ Up. As the camera panned up to show her complete look, the band sang in the background, “High heels.” She lip-synced to Nick’s iconic lyrics “red dress” before bursting into laughter. 

Gomez confirmed that she was looking back at the time when she wrote, “Feeling nostalgic,” in the caption. She also appeared in the track’s official music video as Nick’s love interest in 2008. 

According to E!, Nick and Gomez dated between 2008 and 2010 after their paths crossed while working on different Disney Channel projects. It was also the time when her now-close pal Taylor Swift was dating Joe Jonas. The two women, who now share a close bond, have often talked about the way they met and joked that it was the only good thing from their respective relationships. 

Gomez spilled beans about her friendship with Swift during an episode of The Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast last year. She noted, “Taylor and I dated the Jonas Brothers,” before adding, “I dated Nick, and she dated Joe.” 

The Wizards of Waverly Place star joked that both she and the Love Story crooner did not know what they were doing. “But yeah, she and I like to say that the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other,” she added. Following their breakup with the two brothers, Gomez noted that there was no bad blood between all of them. She said, “We all know and love each other now,” before adding, “It’s so cute.”

This was not the only time Gomez publicly spoke about her former boyfriend. According to BuzzFeed, she was once asked about Nick’s s——– during her 2015 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. In an awkward moment, the host talked about the Jonas Brothers’ youngest member’s roles in Scream Queens and Kingdom. 

Gomez was thrown off guard when Cohen asked “how gay” the Camp Rock 2 star was given his roles in the two movies. The host said, “He has played — recently — gay roles in Scream Queens and Kingdom. All gay men want this dude to be gay.” “On a scale of 1 to 10 — 10 being as gay as me — how gay is Nick Jonas?” he asked.

The Only Murders in the Building star appeared to be a bit shocked by the question. However, she swiftly answered, “I dated him… Like, zero.” The moment often resurfaced on social media with people slamming the host for the “inappropriate” question.

Both Gomez and Nick later found the love of their lives eventually and sealed the deal. The Jealous singer married Priyanka Chopra in 2018. On the other hand, Gomez tied the knot with Benny Blanco last year.
