Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce transformed Madison Square Garden into a dreamy wonderland to tie the knot. The couple took their vows before 1,000 guests, and the rest of the world could not even catch a glimpse of it. While it has been months since their wedding took place in New York, some details continue to roll in. The latest reveals that the couple kept their decor a secret, ordering everything burned after the wedding.

Fans are still eagerly waiting to see what Swift looked like at her wedding. While some news outlets gave away a few details of the decor, people did not get to see the official pictures. They may never see pieces of the decor again either.

According to the Daily Mail, Swift and Kelce had every nook and corner of the arena decorated according to the theme. From tall trees to lush greenery, a ton of decorative pieces were installed to make their special day even more beautiful.

However, hours after the couple celebrated their union with the industry’s A-listers, the decorations were brought down. Every piece that served in transforming the arena was shipped from New York to Pennsylvania to be burned to the ground. The outlet confirmed that the pop star’s team specifically ordered workers to “dispose” of all the pieces and leave no trail behind.

Many fans gathered outside MSG on the night of the couple’s wedding. They were reportedly gifted leftover desserts from the party. However, the couple’s team was reportedly adamant that no piece of the decor must get out. “They didn’t want people to steal it and then auction it or sell it, so they just burned it all,” a source revealed.

The decor pieces also included Colosseum-like walls spread across the arena. They also included forest graphics, faux trees, a greenhouse, a peach tent, fabrics, and more. While many of these pieces were made at Rock Lititz, the exact location where they were destroyed was not revealed. “They had told us it was going to be incinerated, but I don’t know where they actually physically incinerated it,” the source said.

The source added that it was not Swift who directly ordered to burn down the decor. However, they said, “The fact that no one has relics of it and it all had to get burned and properly disposed of is kind of crazy.” “Eleven semi-trucks to transport cross-country and then just burn it all down was pretty wild just because you don’t want people [to have access to it],” they added.

The couple avoided their wedding decor being resold. However, they could not stop Swifties from buying small transparent blocks consisting of trash from outside MSG. According to CBS News, an artist named Justin Gignac collected garbage from the streets of New York on Swift’s wedding day.

The trash included cigarette buds, an AirPod, and everything that could be termed as trash. He said, “I went around the perimeter. I found a Ring Pop. I found that left AirPod, and I also found an ovulation test kit.” He made about 50 transparent boxes out of the trash and sold them for $25 each.

Within a day, he sold out the 50 cubes. Swifties’ eagerness to buy the garbage made many wonder whether the artist clarified where he got it. However, he clearly said, “It’s from outside MSG during the wedding.”
