One of the newest Married at First Sight cast members is no stranger to reality TV.

Nick Uhlenhuth is one of 14 singles who will say “I do” to someone they’ve just met at the altar in season 20 of the Peacock reality series, which premieres July 12. But there’s a good chance that the 31-year-old product manager’s bride will recognize her husband, given that he’s appeared on multiple Netflix shows.

Nick first graced TV screens in season 3 of The Circle, which aired in 2021. He then went on to try to find love in season 1 of Perfect Match. Last year, he was a contestant on Battle Camp.

On MAFS, Nick reportedly marries a 28-year-old program manager named Courteney.

“I’M GETTING MARRIED ( FOR REAL THIS TIME),” he wrote on Instagram when his casting was announced in June. “Catch me on Married At First Sight season 20. Yall thought I was pranking you on April Fool’s day, but I WASN’T LYING.” (Nick had previously “joked” in an April 1 post about joining the not-yet-announced season 20 cast.)

Adding a previous reality TV participant to the mix is unusual for Married at First Sight. The only other cast member who has appeared on another reality series is season 1’s Jamie Otis. She was a contestant on season 16 of The Bachelor in 2012. She also appeared on Bachelor Pad Season 3. On MAFS, Jamie married Doug Hehner. They have been together for 12 years and share four children.

Married at First Sight Season 20 premieres Sunday, July 12, exclusively on Peacock. New episodes release weekly on Thursdays through August 27.
