Angelina Jolie has previously spoken about leaving the U.S. once her children were adults. Her chance to leave the country came with her twins Vivienne and Knox’s 18th birthday. As her youngest kids are all grown up, the actress is reportedly set to pay attention to her passions. However, her eagerness to pursue her dreams has left her kids worrying about her. 

According to Radar Online, the Mr. and Mrs. Smith actress once revealed that she stayed in Los Angeles only to raise her kids. “I am here because I have to be here from a divorce. But as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” the actress said at the time. 

The new update came after Jolie reportedly sold her multi-million-dollar mansion. Sources revealed that Jolie’s decision to allegedly travel has left her kids, including her four older ones: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, concerned about her well-being. 

An insider revealed that Jolie’s children are happy to see their mother fulfilling her long dream of moving out of the U.S. However, this does not stop them from being “pretty anxious about it.” “She’s planning to go back full steam into her most risky passions: her motorcycle, flying, doing field work in conflict zones,” the insider shared. 

The Maleficent star’s children are not going to tell her not to pursue her passions, despite how much they worry about her. “In fact, they are encouraging her to travel as far and wide as she needs to. But they do want some guardrails and promises from her that she will take precautions,” the source shared. 

In response to her children’s worry, Jolie reportedly “swore up and down” to make sensible decisions. Her children are reportedly worried about her because her passions involve a lot of risk. “She has much she wants to do and see. This next chapter is going to be very full on,” the insider teased.  

Jolie has not clarified where she would move to next. However, according to L’Officiel, she revealed last month that she will not move to New York. Instead, she will leave the States altogether. The actress revealed that she has not planned where her base would be, but she would like to have a home base for her family.

The base will be a place “where some of the mom stuff and the family photos are.” For the rest of he time, she confirmed she would like to be “a bit nomadic.” She revealed that she is also set to take her Atelier Jolie global. The actress indicated that the next store may open up in Brazil. 

Besides her picturesque acting career, the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star is also a humanitarian working in various countries. Jolie returned to Cambodia in July to look after her Maddox Foundation. Reflecting on her future as a traveler, the actress shared, “My home in Cambodia will also be a residency a few months out of the year for Khmer culture.” 

The Eternals star named the foundation after her eldest son, whom she adopted from Cambodia in 2001. She shares all six of her children with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.
