Jennifer Lopez’s New Brett Goldstein Dating Rumors Come With a Sharp Ben Affleck Dig

Jennifer Lopez is rumored to have found romance again, but in the office with her co-star Brett Goldstein. However, unlike her last marriage to Ben Affleck, insiders claim that this time things are different. A few days into the rumors, Goldstein is already being compared to the Gone Girl star.

According to Page Six, an insider revealed that Lopez and Goldstein’s relationship is rather “casual” at the moment. Their romance rumors swirled around earlier this year when the two stars were promoting their movie. These rumors resurfaced after the two actors were spotted at a talent manager’s party in Los Angeles. While they entered the party separately, they left together. 

The source revealed that Goldstein has one quality that Affleck reportedly lacked. “The one thing they have in common is they both enjoy going out to parties and restaurants,” the insider revealed. They added, “Unlike her ex Ben [Affleck], who always had a scowl on his face when they were out.”

Lopez previously hinted at having a rather special moment with Goldstein on the sets of their romcom. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she was asked who was the best kisser. Lopez immediately said it was the Ted Lasso star. She told Andy Cohen, “I just did a movie with Brett Goldstein, and I’d say he was the best kisser.”

On their appearance on Today, they addressed their romance rumors. The On The Floor crooner said, “There’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person.” When Savannah Guthrie straight away asked if the two were dating in real life, Lopez said, “Not dating.” Goldstein immediately came in support, saying, “Correct.”

The news outlet previously reported that the rumored couple had “undeniable” chemistry on the sets of the show. A source said at the time that the co-stars “kept things professional on set while filming, but their chemistry was undeniable.” “They tried to keep things low-key during the months while filming but flirted here and there on set, and they definitely had a strong connection,” the insider added. 

The source claimed that everyone on the set saw them “getting very cozy.” “It was obvious they were into each other,” they added. They were free to take wherever they wanted to take their bonding. However, their romance appeared to fizzle out. “They liked spending time together and Brett made her happy,” the source said before adding, “But things just sort of fizzled out between them since last year.”

Meanwhile, Lopez was last focusing on her single life. According to People, Lopez confirmed to Jimmy Kimmel that she was single. She also said that she should have embraced her singlehood sooner. “I’ve been doing it all wrong. I’ve been doing it all wrong, trust me,” she added.

The 57-year-old also dismissed the idea of becoming the next Bachelorette. She immediately called the idea “crazy,” sharing that she will not do anything to ruin how “fantastic” she was feeling while staying single. She asserted that she was good where she stood at the time. However, Lopez did not give up on romance, as she said, “I’ll meet somebody somewhere one day if they’re good enough.”
