Kanye West’s Rare Family Outing Comes Amid Kim Kardashian’s Blunt Co-Parenting Confession
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian share their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, together. Despite their messy divorce, the former couple has maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship. In a rare event, West recently posed with all four of his children. He was also accompanied by his wife, Bianca Censori.
Ye often takes his eldest daughter out along with Censori. Kardashian has also revealed that he spends time with the children at home. However, according to the Daily Mail, the rapper brought all his kids to his latest Yeezy fashion show in Los Angeles earlier this week.
The show certainly marked an important one for the rapper. He dubbed it “Season 01,” as it marked a comeback for he brand after a hiatus of four years. Ye’s scandals highly affected his brand image, but as he revived it, he brought in his little supporters.
West wore an all-black ensemble at his flagship brick-and-mortar store in L.A. While he stuck to his signature look, he did give it a pop of color with a chunky gold belt buckle. His kids also came bearing their own style.
North wore a long black raincoat with matching bottoms and boots. She gave her blue locks a twist and left them straightened and open. The teenager attended the show in full-glam makeup with dramatic eyes and faux piercings. The rest of the kids came wearing tracksuits in different shades.
Censori opted for a rather racy look. She wore a beige velour bodysuit with a front zip. She zipped the bodysuit only to hide her modesty and left the chest area bare.
The family reunion came after Kardashian recently revealed what co-parenting with West behind-the-scenes looks like. According to Us Weekly, the beauty mogul got candid about the same in her latest tell-all biography, Citizen Kim, by Jonathan Van Meter. In the book, the author revealed that the All’s Fair actress revealed how co-parenting is a burden for her.
“Oh, I worry about [Kanye] all day,” Kardashian confessed in the book. She continued to share, “All the time. That’s the father of my kids, I’ll never not worry about him. And that’s a big burden of having kids with someone who you don’t necessarily get along with.”
The 46-year-old also revealed how she swept her public feud with West under the carpet so that her kids could be closer to their father. “My kids would never know that. I do everything in my power to forget about all the negative things that happened.” Despite their differences, Kardashian noted that she and the I Wonder rapper manage to co-parent without much conflict.
The key to their rather cordial arrangement is less conversation. “It’s been pretty smooth for a while. I guess because we don’t talk that much,” she revealed. However, whenever they come face-to-face, they hug it out. Her distance from West did not mean that she was no longer in touch with his family.
Kardashian revealed that she remained close to her former in-laws. She has an open-door policy for them, as she invites them for dinner whenever they are in town. The extended family is also allowed to spend as much time as they want with her kids. “That’s their family. So I encourage the relationship with their dad so much,” she said.
