Stressed Victoria Beckham Fears Estranged Son Brooklyn Could Be Planning Tell-All Documentary
Victoria Beckham is allegedly losing sleep over rumors that her estranged son is working on a tell-all documentary.
Insiders recently told Heat World that Posh Spice has learned that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, are preparing to open up about their feud with herself and her husband (and Brooklyn’s father), David Beckham.
“Brooklyn and Nicola are making a lot of headlines right now, and producers are really excited,” a source said. “They’ve been asking friends and family to sign release forms, and David and Vic have caught wind of it via their lawyers.”
If Brooklyn talks about his strained relationship with his famous parents on camera, it would be “yet another hurtful betrayal,” Heat claims. The former Spice Girl is allegedly “distraught” over the possibility of the documentary.
“Vic thinks it’ll be like having to read his public statement all over again, but this time on TV. She feels really on edge about it—she just can’t seem to relax,” the insider claimed.
In January, Brooklyn made headlines when he announced that he was estranged from his parents.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he said in the lengthy statement, which he shared on Instagram.
Now, it sounds like Brooklyn might stand up for himself again. He wants to take control of the narrative about his relationship with his parents. That has Victoria Beckham deeply concerned.
“Vic’s trying to ignore it, but instead she’s having to brace herself for impact. She’s just hoping both Nicola and Brooklyn can find a way to move forward with their lives and careers without having to make accusations against the family. David has said he will step in if they do, but Vic doesn’t want another big war breaking out,” the source told Heat.
In March, sources told The Sun that Brooklyn and Nicola were in early talks with Hulu for a tell-all docuseries. Executives were reportedly hopeful Brooklyn would be willing to elaborate on his falling out with his parents.
In his explosive social post, Brooklyn accused Victoria and David Beckham of trying to control media narratives about their famous family, including through “performative” social media posts and “blatant lies” shared with the press. They also meddled in his relationship with Nicole, whom he married in 2022.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he wrote. He added that he was told his future wife was “not blood” and “not family.” Victoria also “hijacked” his first dance with his wife, Brooklyn said.
The Beckhams have also pressured him financially, Brooklyn said. He also said his parents had turned his three younger siblings against him.
“Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children,” Brooklyn alleged.
“I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose and have found peace and relief,” Brooklyn concluded. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want [is] peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family.”
