Kim Kardashian has previously revealed that her first marriage to record producer Damon Thomas was not an ideal one. While she hid her marriage at the time, how her parents found out about it was not ideal either. It was Kourtney Kardashian who told her mother, Kris Jenner, about her younger sister’s marriage. As a result, the two sisters had a rough patch, which included them having no conversation for four weeks.

In the latest season of The Kardashians, viewers got to witness a lot of drama in the Kardashian-Jenner clan. According to People, Kourtney spent time with her stepdaughter Alabama Barker, discussing the siblings’ feud. When the 20-year-old told her she was not speaking with her brother Landon, the Poosh founder was reminded of a similar situation she had with her sister. 

“We’re in an argument,” Alabama told Kourtney about her spat with her brother. She continued, “We just had a disagreement and I found something out, and I told my father, and [Landon] didn’t like that.” The argument was for Landon’s “own good,” but it left them not speaking for four weeks. 

Reacting to Barker’s revelation, Kourtney recalled, “Four weeks? I told you, I didn’t talk to Kim once for four weeks in high school, no, college.” She continued to share the story, saying, “Kim got married when she was 19, and she didn’t tell me — my friends told me.” “So I told my mom, ‘cause my mom kept saying, ‘It’s so funny, the nail girl was saying, ‘Congratulations, your daughter got married.’ And then Kim was like, ‘You’re ruining my life!’ the 47-year-old added.

Kim previously revealed about her first wedding on an episode of the reality TV show. She said, “My first wedding, I wore leather capris with a leather halter top with no back and big Prada wedges,” before calling her outfit “cute.” However, she went all in to share details about her first marriage in her authorized biography Citizen Kim, written by Jonathan Van Meter. 

According to the Daily Mail, the SKIMS founder revealed that her mother gave her 24 hours to tell her father, Robert Kardashian, about her teenage marriage. “It was the hardest call I ever had to make,” Kim said, sharing how everyone was mad at her. 

Meanwhile, in her marital home, things were far from bliss. Although Kim would spend $15,000 a month on clothes, she found her then-husband to be controlling. In the court documents from the time Kim filed for divorce, she mentioned that the record producer rented massive mansions. Moreover, he was $466,030 in unpaid taxes and penalties. 

At home, Thomas asked Kim to leave her boutique job and have no contact with her ex-boyfriends. “He said that he wanted to know where I was at all times. Therefore, I quit my job,” she shared. Kim also learned how to cook for her husband. However, he would return home at 4:30 a.m. and expect her to cook for him. 

The series of disturbing incidents continued as Thomas allegedly asked Kim to drop college. The reality TV star also revealed that he took n— pictures of her and her sisters to her father. “Your daughters are w—– and I have the pictures to prove it,” he told Robert. 

That was not it. Kim continued in the documents, “He then made packages and sent the pictures gift-wrapped to my best friend’s place of employment in Encino to scare us.” Eventually, Kim sneaked into the house, took her belongings, and left for life. Their divorce was finalized in 2004.
